We walked the first part of the Tolkien Trail, which includes Sarehole Mill, Tolkien's early childhood home, and the Moseley Bog. Great exhibits at Sarehole Mill. Moseley Bog is a wonderful forest to walk through in the middle of the city.

Tolkein was based in Birmingham when writing and was inspired by things Birmingham. Visit Sarehole Mill, The Moseley Bog, The Twin Towers - These places are the home of the Tolkein's characters (not New Zealand where the films were made)
