The old grammar school is fantastic to walk round although does not take long, you have to have a guided tour as cannot walk round by yourself. The staff on reception are not to friendly but the cafe is lovely. There is a lovely old church next door beautifully set on Kings Norton Green. Well worth a visit.

The grammar school has been around since the 16th century and sits alongside St Nicolas Church, The Green, Kings Norton. This and the Saracen's head pub which is now St Nicolas Place were renovated by BBC Restoration project as winners in 2007! Amazing place with a lovely tea room, Molly's for Afternoon tea or Eggs Benedict.

If you want to visit the Old Grammer school you can only have guided tours at 11am and 2pm , you are not allowed to walk around by yourself. Its easy to miss the entrance as there are no clear signs . Excellent staff in the Cafe , and well mannered and cheerful ,pity the persons around the desk wasn't like that too. Its a shame but we don't feel like going back........ Beautiful looking bit of Building History in a lovely old part of Birmingham.
