A group of us went to see Shen Yun. I initially wasn't attending but I was gifted a ticket. I thought the person who gifted me this ticket was my friend. OMG. I have never been so bored in all my life. The dances and choreography was repetitive, the 2 hosts more cheesy than cheese on toast and to top it off we were subjected to an out of tune opera singer. This was one time I wished I had a BGT red button.
The show was so bad we were laughing hysterically. I was going to ask for my money back, I mean £85 could have got me half a tank of petrol, however I was reminded I hadn't actually paid for a ticket. £85 !!! I mean even Dick Turpin wore a madk. 2 hours of my life I'll never get back.
The ICC, however, is a good venue.

I attended the Annual Apprenticeship Conference 2022 as an exhibitor this week. What a team the ICC has. Every person who who we interreacted with from arrival and set up where so very helpful - the fantastic Events Manger Stuart, and the technical team who sorted out an issue with our setup.
Once the event was underway we really felt well looked after and made to feel welcome by the door security, left luggage team, the meet and greet staff, caterers technical and cleaning teams. Well done ICC, your staff are a credit.

Made a visit to the ICC for a conference and firstly surprised by the setting in the city centre. Hadn't been to Birmingham for years and wow its changed and the investment must be considerable!
The ICC is bit of a rabbit warren and we seemed to walk miles between floors and conference rooms, and whilst there are lifts I wouldn't think wheelchair users would find it that easy to get about as each route to get anywhere is a bit of a hike.
The staff were friendly and helpful and the public areas clean and tidy 😊

Was good to return to Starbuck's again this lunchtime.

I had a Tuna Melt Panini, Chocolate Twist and an Americano coffee.

Have been coming to Starbuck's for a long time with my local social group now and have always enjoyed the food, coffee and excellent customer service and this was no exception.

Looking forward to returning again very soon, well done guys!!

I simply wanted to know what time an event was due to finish...What a complete nightmare. All the numbers and options on their website either cut me off or informed me they were closed. After 14 separate calls i gave up. I had to call the organisers of the event in London to get this simple piece of information. A complete shambles and put me i a foul mood before a very expensive show. Thanks ICC - outstanding service.

Here for a conference. Excellent cloakroom facilities for luggage storage. There are a few food/drink places here - Starbucks and Subway but few people seemed to use them. Not sure if that says that they aren't good or whether people just don't stop here.

Staff are friendly and really helpful. A few more street signs from New Street station would have helped my "magical mystery walking tour" here when I arrived

we went to get some hot drinks before attending a concert at the Symphony Hall. The queue was huge however it was moving slowly and gradually. The staff were doing their best to help all the people waiting however one member of staff was just incredibly rude and dismissive towards us. Won't be returning in a hurry unfortunately due to this experience.

Stopped by for a coffee 13.07.19 1600hrs, to a fairly quiet store - no surprise really.
Two staff on duty, one was trying to serve us, while to other was in a constant deep conversation with the staff member from Subway next door.
Customer in front of me had 4 drinks, and I asked for 2, so 2 staff could have cleared this very quickly, but one was clearly more pre-occupied.
I was only offered takeaway cups, and the reason became clear.
The trolley was already stacked with dirty crockery, and 18 of the tables had crockery/food on them already, with another 5 tables at least occupied with customers.
there was also food remnants on the counter, so a more dirty outlet would be difficult to imagine.
After standing waiting with to drinks in my hands, one table was cleared but not cleaned.
The one working member of staff carried on clearing (but not cleaning) the tables, whilst his female colleague continued her conversation with 'next door'.
Altogether a most distasteful visit to a national chain.......goodness only knows what it looks like at BUSY times.

We went to the ICC for an evening concert and decided to visit Starbucks in the Mall beforehand. We had a chocolate drink each and a slice of cake. Not much change from £10 for what turned out to be lukewarm and unpalatable drinks. The staff tried to serve customers as quickly as possible but the state of the area was unforgettable. Tables were not cleared of other customers' dishes giving a dirty appearance. It was crowded and dark. It was an awful experience and definitely not to be repeated. Don't go there. I would prefer to give it no stars but have to award one in order to get my record accepted.
