I love Birmingham - and especially old Birmingham; the first of places my late Father used to talk about visiting when he was a boy. The civic heart of Birmingham always reminds me of him. Though the city is vibrant and dynamic, some things have...More

Outside the old Birmingham Library and Museum, Chamberlain Square id mostly used as a cut through to Broad Street and somewhere to sit and eat lunch or watch the world go by. Really comes in to its own during the events like the summer beach...More

Very old looking but it does link Victoria Square and the shopping centre with centenary square and beyond. Quite nice to sit on the steps in the sun, but be careful of the pigeons.

... compared to it's close neighbours, but well worth a couple of still moments to view the architecture on offer on a couple of it's sides (in particular the magnificent B. C. Museum and Art Gallery frontage) and to admire the Memorial Fountain.
