This is a large and beautiful park. Lovely flowerbeds, a lake, lots of trees and grassy areas. Boats on the lake, an arts centre, a funfair, a sandy 'beach' for the summer. But, considering the size of the park, the number of people who use it, and the money that has clearly been invested, I felt the children's play areas... More

I have visited this park since childhood and have always loved the formal gardens and it's little nooks and crannies. A great place for families to enjoy with the ponds and boats and also just to enjoy a walk in its years old splendour. Great facilities on site with cafes and the art centre, plus at times festivals. Not forgetting... More

Lovely family park, lots to do. Pedlo swans available during summer holidays. Nice cafe onsite with outdoor and indoor seating. Went to the small fair that's on at the moment £1 per ride. Lots of rides for smaller children. Lovely place to visit for cheap day out. Also a nature reserve onsite.

Beautiful and big park for the kids to enjoy. Kids sat on the rides. Lovely walk, beautiful flowers. School projects displayed were very creative.

I came here as a child, teenager, adult with my dog and it's just been our first outing with our first baby. It's a huge place but I know it like the back of my hand and absolutely love it. Will continue to visit so that our son appreciates it as much

Afternoon visit with my 2 small grandchildren and families. Ducks and geese to entertain the babies. When they are older plenty of green spaces to run around on and kick a ball about. Had a drink and cake in The Mac. Plenty of indoor seating. There are swings that are free and a small fairground for the older kids. Lovely... More

Love the park, literally visit it everyday. Best park in Birmingham by far. On a sunny day take a ride on a swan. Worth it. The little cafe is nice too and you can get a decent bite from the Mac. If it feels too crowded, follow the cycle path to holders lane woods, nice little excursion and usually a... More
