I know it must be pricey, looking after all these colourful fish at the required temperature and salinity and with hungry sharks to feed and all, but the entrance fee is steep for what amounts to about an hour at most if the kids are racing ahead. Of course, you could insist they read every available information sheet and linger... More

So apparently the sealife centre is the biggest in Europe? I really don't think so. The price is extortionate to say you are only viewing tanks of fish. Most exciting part is the penguins and what was supposed to be an otter enclosure but it only had one otter in it!! If you have kids then this might be okay... More

We took our grandchildren aged 5&7 on a day out and visited the centre. The full price of entry is£80+ and you are hard pressed to spend more than a couple of hours there. It is in need of refurbishing and the new penguin area is disappointing. We were expecting much more. The whole place looks tired and shabby. we felt the whole experience... Easy to get to, we spent a great couple of hours in the centre. The animals were varied and interesting and there was a trail that my five year old could follow as we walked around. The penguins and the underwater tunnel was a particular favourite and we also enjoyed the free 4d cinema.

Most of us think National Sea Life Centre(NSLC) is one of the expensive places to visit. It is not always! My daughter's school was closed for staff inset during term time, I took her utilising mum and toddler offer(up to 5 years old) which cost only £13.50 for both of us. Little one was excited to see the gentoo penguins... More

Iv really enjoyed this place in the past and with the introduction of the Penguins since my last visit just makes it better. Highly recommended. It's not a full day out, I was there 2 hours but toughly enjoyed every minute.

Disappointed by the displays and attractions, I attended two talk and I was not impressed by the presentations (i.e. content). The 4D cinema I also found quite poor the seat rattling I found very limited and poor. So very over priced, I paid £47 for 1 adult and 2 child..

My first issue with the sea life centre is the pricing structure. My wife reeled off a list of prices based on times and offers. Why can't I just pay and get in? Why do I need a spreadsheet to plan the best value for money when visiting? We had to weigh up whether or not to book online with... More
