Matt slack, impeccable comic timing and slick adlib is always a highlight but the surprise of the show the Krankies! God bless little jimmy, 69 years old. You go girl!!! Just Incredible and a brilliant comic pairing with barrowman too, pure magic. Fresh,... More

Absolutely brilliant....Oh yes it was! Haven't laughed so much in ages 😂👏 We all loved it and the audience, cast and theatre staff were all great! Worth every penny, a family day out that has left us with priceless memories - Can't wait till next year.

This is by far one of the best acts of have seen in theatre. Don't be fooled into thinking it is just for kids I was quite surprised at how explicit it was but there wasn't a dry house in the building it is one of the funniest acts I have seen. I would definitely recommend.

Had a great time at the panto, John Barrowman was really funny and had a great chemistry with The Krankies especially little Jimmy. Matt Slack as always was hilarious.

Having been to more than one pantomime this recent holiday period, I must say that the Hippodrome was the best! Apart from what it says in the title, it was also very noticeable that John Barrowman and the Krankies particularly (but not exclusively) really enjoyed themselves and were obviously having as much fun as the audience and this makes such... As long as you don't get too far back in the rear stalls or circle it is great but for shows where you want to see the face the theatre is just too big. Make sure your seats will give you a decent view.

I think the Birmingham Hippodrome is a marvellous theatre! It's comfortable with tasteful décor and everyone welcomes you into the theatre for a truly great experience! I visited to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and was so impressed by the venue I've just visited again to see Dick Whittington! What an absolute riot of entertainment! This is how panto should... More
