We visited the NEC at Birmingham today to attend the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show 2017. The place is easy to get to, well signposted. There is plenty of car parking (which happened to be free for this event). Free shuttle buses run from the car parks to the entrance of the exhibition centre. Once inside, the centre is huge... Excellent facilities, plenty of space, free bus link. Everything you'd expect from the Nec venue, including the extortionate car park fee's which was the only real down point...

Been to NEC several times . Equally for exhibition and concerts. Exhibition halls are very big so good walking shoes a must. Take refreshments if possible as pop up cafes and venders are very expensive Concerts again excellent for accustics if sat up in the gods then visual of the concert will be much lesser . Easy access and lots of accommodation nearby to stay over. Enough eating places to use, although mainly fast food places.

Visited with a friend for a trade show in halls 11/12. I was astounded at the prices and poor quality in the restaurant. Paper cups, poor selection of cake, extortionate prices for cold sandwiches/bagettes etc.... They also had the audacity to charge £12.95 reduced from £16.95 for fish, chips & peas.... I could have purchased these hand cooked by Rick... More

I maybe a little long in the tooth but I have never really looked forward to events at the NEC but this visit was different. Strangely everything seemed much customer focused and all the franchises offered pretty good service and value for money. The only complaint would be the main Hungry franchise in hall 12 who must have had a... More

Charging £12 to park, even for disabled visitors is an absolute disgrace. Add on to this the cost of admission tickets and petrol makes it a very expensive visit.
