Me and my friend visited Santai Spa as we regularly do Spa days.
We usually go to the same ones but we saw an offer so went for this one, we were glad we did.
We opted for a flotation treatment and a mini massage...it was £84 that included 3 hours use of the Spa.
The Spa was easy to find, and we were greeted warmly on arrival
Everything was slick on check in, all the details for our day were ready. Robes, towels and flip Flops included.
Free tea, coffee and water. Plenty of variety and you can help yourself.
Nice area near the reception to sit and relax quietly.
Relaxation room was sectioned off with curtains and was dimly lit, relaxing music playing. Really lovely and clean.
The changing room was small but had everything you needed and Espa products available.
Hairdryers were provided too.
The outdoor jacuzzi was a treat, there were hot beds, another jacuzzi in the pool area with sauna and steam room.
Plenty of sun loungers. It was busy by the time we left but there were still seats available.
The dry flotation was a great experience and again the receptionist/host was so knowledgeable and friendly.
Treatment rooms were upstairs, really quiet, therapist friendly and the massage was brilliant.
Overall we had a really lovely morning.
We didn't have food there so couldn't comment on this. We will definitely return as it was professional, clean, had everything you needed for a brilliant day.
Special mention to the lady that greeted us on arrival, she really did make the day, genuinely lovely.

Great spa with fab facilities.
Fab adults only steam sauna pool outdoor jacuzzi and heated loungers.
What really makes it is the staff who are all so lovely.
But a really special mention to the nicest lady you will ever meet called Ellie who works on reception.
She is such a ray of a sunshine who is always genuinely happy to see you, always cheerful, and really welcoming and makes sure everyone is okay.
She always makes time to say hello and asks how I am, is so approachable and would do anything for anyone. She makes this spa what it is, and such a lovely experience when I visit. If you visit when she is working you are very lucky :)

I had a treatment with Sian who was very friendly and professional. She made you feel at ease and checked if I was ok throughout. Her delivery of treatment was exceptional and I would highly recommend her to anyone considering treatments.
As this was a birthday gift she also gave me some complimentary treats, thanks so much Sian you are AMAZING!

This is my 5th attempt at trying to publish a review about this Spa which keeps getting reported (probably by Spa staff) for some reason.
My wife and I have endured a terrible experience at the hands of the Spa Supervisor. I would urge all travellers to stay away until the Spa sort out their policies for staff and hire professional competent people to do the job.
We booked for a special occasion and the whole experience was ruined by the Spa Supervisor who refused to honour our massage (which was prepaid). She was extremely rude, highly discriminatory, and showed no basic customer service skills. She also complained about her job and said she didn’t care about upsetting customers!!
This place is a joke and I’ll be taking my complaint about the Santai Spa and the Spa Supervisor further with other bodies and organisations in the leisure and hospitality industry.

As explained to you during our communications after your visit. Our team on the day were following the usual process of a late arrival for a treatment as explained in our terms and conditions. We always recommend that anyone arrives 15 minutes prior to their treatment to complete consultation forms, any late arrival will always result in cutting into your treatment time. I am aware that there was a breakdown in communication between our reservations team and spa reception which resulted in a negative impact on your visit which was through no fault of any individuals as the regular policy was followed.
We pride ourselves on our customer service and it is dispiriting to see that our attempts to restore your faith have gone unmentioned in your review. We wish you all the best on all of your future endeavours.

Booked the spa package which included 3 hour visit to the spa and facilities, visited on a Saturday so expected it to be busier but hoped that as it was during COVID there would be a good level of social distancing but there wasn’t, spa was over filled as it is very small to begin with. Couldn’t get a lounger by the pool so ended up having to stand a lot of the time, went to use the jacuzzi and as it was 4 guests maximum it meant having to wait for others to finish with no where to go in the meantime. Other guests ruined the experience by being rude and arguing over the “queue” for the outdoor jacuzzi. Spa is very small, not worth the value we paid for the package. The spa is merged with general access from the gym so there was constant people in and out and did not get a chance to relax at all, I felt more stressed coming out when it was supposed to be a relaxing experience after not being able to get a seat and being confronted by other pool users. Had this booked for a while to meet with friends that I haven’t seen since before the pandemic and was very disappointed with our day at Santai spa.

Being 100% brummie and living in the city this Spa is fairly local and great value for money. Super relaxing and the staff are very friendly and helpful especially Victoria. Complimentary selection of drinks from tea, coffee, hot chocolate to apple / orange juices.
Keep up the great work and if Victoria is working know that your in good hands

Firstly don't waste money on a over crowded spa where you cannot relax.Most things look like they need updating.Only 2 showers in the changing rooms.
I had booked me and my husband 3 hours of spa access which said that your car parking would be complimentary with the price paid.Staff at spa had informed us that the car park ticket was validated for 12 hours.
After our spa we went for something to eat at one of the restaurants within resorts world.When departing the car park we found out that the spa staff had not validated our car park ticket which resulted us paying 16 pounds.
The next day I had called up and was advised the spa manager was not there but If I write a email to her she can then resolve this hofully get a refund for the amount paid for the car park.
Not heard anything back its been over 5 days.

I visited with friends a booked for 3hrs including the dry flotation treatment. Firstly it’s a real stretch to call that a treatment. It’s basically a water bed in a bath & you’re left alone in a room for 25mins! I found it really hard to relax in there & could hear lots of noise from the reception area. The pool/jacuzzi/steam rooms etc are really nice, however our experience in there was ruined by 2 couples who seemed to think they were in a nightclub, screaming, shouting, swearing and generally being inappropriate. Not the Spas fault of course, however when we mentioned it to the receptionist she told us we were the 6th complaint she’d had about them, yet they were still there. I feel the spa staff should have had them removed well before 6 complaints! I wasn’t impressed with the changing area, there are 3 showers with shower curtains & one cubicle to get changed in. I prefer more privacy. Overall I don’t think this spa represented value for money. It’s in a great location at resorts world, but I won’t be returning in a hurry.

I have been having PT sessions with Rico for a few months now and have achieved several of my goals. He is so friendly, helpful and really understands what his clients want. He takes time to explain why he recommends certain exercises and makes sure he watches you throughout the session to monitor your form. He is not at all like any of the other cowboy PTs I have had in the past who seem uninterested, on their phone throughout your session, happily chatting to other clients whilst you are paying for their time - Rico is super professional, never on his phone during my sessions, constantly checking how an am doing and gives lots of positive feedback.
The spa reception staff are always super welcoming and friendly whenever I pop in for my PT sessions, and always have a little chat with me and also encourage me to do well in my sessions with Rico.

Overall we were disappointed. It is quite small and if there were more than 30 people in there it would be packed. Outside jacuzzi is nice but had to queue to get in it. We had an issue with someone using a mobile phone taking pictures and using facetime despite lots of signs saying no mobile phones. They were asked not to use the phone and they said no so I had to get a member of staff who did come and speak to them although after she had gone they continued. So that had not worked. I suggested in my feedback to them that they remind people on entry that there are no mobile phones.
Treatments were ok but had much better. The pedicure and manicures weren't that good just basically a nail paint on both. No attention to feet hands.
It was my mums 80th and we wanted it to be special but it wasnt.

They have a car park, once your done at the spa give them your ticket they will scan it for you so you only pay £2 for the day otherwise it’s very expensive.

Hey I am interested in booking an offer shared on wowcher but wanted to know more about you he jaccuzi outdoor... whenever I see pics shared it seems the place is empty and it’s just the hose people in the jaccuzi... I want to go but don’t want it overcrowded.
What’s the situation do you pay to use it privately or?

You park in resorts world and get a ticket. When u get into the spa just tell them you have parked in resort world then as you leave you need to get them to stamp your car park ticket then when you put it into the machine it only charges you £2...I only stayed for a day so don't know how it works for any longer. I hope that helps xxx

It was when I went yes. Was lovely as well apart from the wind. Water was a lovely temp and we enjoyed a glass of prosecco within the bubbles. Enjoy x

You need to call I think . At the time when I booked it was a minimum treatment charge £70 I think and then you got to use all facilities . Highly recommend it though
