Terrible customer experience, stay away!
Sep 2021
I ordered a tuna toastie and the person at the tilt confirmed there was tuna and when I got home, I noticed it was a horrible cheese toastie with a few onions.

It is not worth £3.95 what a disappointment, especially cause they lied to me.

I called to clarified and they just hanged up on me.

Terrible customer experience!!

Delicious homemade cakes
Jan 2020 • Solo
Situated on the main road it is easy to miss this lovely independent coffee shop.
Came here just before it was due to close to get an espresso for my husband who had been admitted to St Mary’s Hospice.
I wished I had time to sit and enjoy a drink as it looked so homely.
I picked up a leaflet and learnt that it runs children’s party’s, and lots of other activities including craft workshops, mindfulness, Spanish and more.
The next opportunity we collected some take away drinks and delicious homemade cakes including flapjack lemon curd and chocolate shortcake.
The lady who was working at the time was welcoming and kind.
I’m looking forward to visiting again and spending a little longer to enjoy the lovely coffee and more homemade treats.

Thumbs up from me

Really cute place for adults and kids alike. I was able to chill with a cuppa while the kids painted, made creations or whatever they wanted. The staff were warm and welcoming. Will be visiting again for sure

Manager need to fix up, your cafe is not quite there yet.
Oct 2019
The manager is quite rude and defensive when I only came for coffee with child. No welcome with a smile and stand offish and appear to be overtly discriminative (colourism). When asked questions quite abrupt, thus cafe is fir the community not for the select few. However it is a good idea.
The food basic, toilet facilities need improvement and unhygienic, the decor it’s not a warm inviting feeling, and seems the cafe is very basic.
I was disgusted in this overseer attitude and not welcoming diversity, and it is her own ethnic group.

A café with a difference
Oct 2018 • Solo
This café has a special place for me in my busy life as an academic. It’s a place where I can switch off from the rest of the world, if I wish to, and work productively while I enjoy my smoothie or coffee and toastie, cake or salad. Like myself students often come to study here but there are also families with children and adults of all ages socialising over a nice cup of coffee. The café is well-known for its work with local artists and displays their work within the premises. As its name suggests it is also a “creative hub” regularly organising many creative activities for all age groups. Such activities add to the ambience. Often I visit this café after a training run knowing that I would get a healthy drink to quench my thirst and aid muscle recovery. My husband and I like to socialise here, too. Each visit to this café is, for us, like visiting a close friend.

Warm & Welcoming.....
Jun 2018 • Family
1st time visit for my wife & myself with some of our family. It was my wife's mothers birthday and a few of us went there for a coffee....And i must say how welcoming it is....The staff greeted us with a welcoming smile...We sat at our tables. A staff member took our order...Which was dispatched very quickly...The Coffee hub is ideal to take children... Lots of activities for them to do....A lovely Chalk wall to draw on.....The cost of Tea's. Coffee & cakes is very affordable.....We will almost certainly pay another visit when we are in the area visiting our Mother......Make a note If you are in the area visit....You will not be disappointed....
There are Toilet Facilities available....

Love this place, I use it when I'm writing an essay for uni. Great calm atmosphere, friendly staff and background music is conducive to reading and being creative.

Good for families with school aged children
Jul 2017 • Friends
Went with a friend and altogether 4 children aged 7-13. The children painted a piggy bank each while we had coffee. They spent more than an hour painting and decorating so we grown ups could have a chat. Price of coffee and crafts are reasonable. Recommended.
