About
The Museum, celebrates the stories of Warwickshire and its people and has been refurbished thanks to a generous grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund and with the support of heritage, natural history and community groups from across the county. Explore our galleries, discover treasures from Warwickshire’s collections and archives, and enjoy a tour of this historic, landmark building reimagined for our next generation of visitors. New accessible technology has been integrated into the museum and a themed approach that focuses on ‘Made Here, Getting Here and Living Here’ has been adopted. The refurbished gallery reflects the life and times of Warwickshire from ancient times to the present day. New for 2022 - The ‘On yer bike! Our Summer of Cycling’ exhibition celebrates the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games Cycling Road Race Events. The exhibition tells the story of the history of cycling, with Warwickshire at its heart.

Came into Warwick on the bus after a wonder around found the museum. It’s not very big but nice to look around, things that kids can touch and dress up. Even a live bee 🐝 display that you can watch them making hunny. There is a cafe area you can get hot and cold drinks plus food . Worth having a look round if you are in Warwick

Just situated in the town centre is this lovely museum telling you about the history of companies that have been in Warwick plus how Warwick became the town it is today.
Plenty of things to see from Bees to Fossils. And don`t forget the Romans objects as well. I liked the history of the Healey Car Company that made fast cars and cars for Hollywood stars and the man who started it all, Donald Healey , With rare documents and drawings.
The museum has a small cafe and it`s free to get in..

Wandered up from Warwick Castle to find this little gem. Small but friendly, as you walk in you are greeted by the lovely scent of handmade soap from the pretty gift shop. Next there is a full sized Brown Bear! The displays are mixed and eclectic, I loved the historic clothing, especially the buckles and Land Girl display. Husband was very impressed by the Wilmcote fossil and the kids loved the bees. Yes real bees! There’s a nice cafe serving decent coffee too. Staff all seemed very friendly and we were served by a nice young lady when purchasing their special honey. Overall a good way to while away a few hours in the afternoon.

Whilst I was in the town recently I visited this museum and was impressed by its collection of objects and items. When I visited there was a display concerning the Austin Healey car company, which included lots of photos, models and other memorabilia about this iconic car. Alongside this was a huge bear(!), which is of course the beast so closely associated with Warwick. There's lots more to see in here and the staff are very helpful. Well worth a look.

The staff in the cafe are amazing and work so so hard and always with a smile. I love going here in my lunch break. The coffee is lovely and the toasted sandwiches, panini's and cakes are fab and much more reasonably priced that the bigger chains. I would much rather support this cafe than the big chains. It is a lovely venue and you can sit outside. Highly recommend.

We entered just to get warm on a perishingly cold day. There’s a shop and cafe on the ground floor, and some interesting exhibits.
Then two small exhibitions on the first floor. But the curation is excellent. Just enough information to intrigue and interest.
Lots of interactive things for children ( and adults!) clothes, music, weaving etc.
The tapestry of Warwickshire is really fascinating.
It’s all local or locally based history and well worth a visit even on a warm day.

Found shelter on a wet rainy day. Looks quite small
but there is lots to see inside. The Origins gallery has such a variety of interesting objects. Bees too! There’s also a nice little cafe where we had some tasty paninis and good coffee!

Absolutely amazing museum and even better, it's free! The staff (volunteers) there are lovely and accommodating to adults and children alike. There are interesting artifacts to interest older folk while the young are enthused by imaginiative exhibits (such as a live hive of bees) and children-orientated trails. For a small town, the museum surpassed my expectations and was nicely maintained. It has lots of community events there, such as 'Knit and Natter' as well as arts and crafts for kids. And even better, there's a lovely gift shop and cafe. PLEASE VISIT THIS!

I have made several visits to the Warwickshire Museum . What a delight. Today I enjoyed the exhibits celebrating the moon landing. I’ve also been to an Open Mike Evening and enjoyed all the musical contributors. Very entertaining. The coffee shop should not be missed and I recommend the homemade scones. Most importantly I want to say what a fantastic job the volunteers do to make you u feel at home. They are so friendly. I highly recommend a visit to this little gem in the centre of Warwick.
