Imagine a totally electrifying day out at Britain’s ultimate castle. Where you can immerse yourself in a thousand years of jaw-dropping history – come rain or shine.Where ancient myths and spell-binding tales set your imagination alight, and your hair on end. Where princesses are pampered and maidens are wooed, as winners become true heroes and losers are confined to dark, dank dungeons to be forgotten for eternity. It could only be Warwick Castle.

We visited today specifically to see the jousting, as we've visited Warwick castle on a few occasions. Despite the horrible heavy wet rain, the jousting was brilliant. Its not just jousting, its an excellent show. The actors, riders and horses were fantastic, and tried hard...More

We took our 3 grandchildren here for 2 days and still did not see everything. We paid an extra £1 per person to get in for 2 days which then made the prices better. There was so much to see, the weather was beautiful, which...More

If Disney had an ancient ruin, this is what they'd do to it. Gift shops on the way out of turrets, queuing to walk around the walls. Give me a ruined castle with a real sense of history any time. On the plus side, my...More

Completely traumatised by the Disneyfication of history. The place is full of important artefacts that are badly presented in favour of sensational effects. The food on offer is truly awful.

We didn’t have kids with us but I think they would love the shows etc the winding stair cases might be an issue though. I would go on a day where they concentrate on entertaining the little ones.
