Went with younger kids, 12 and 5,we all had a great time. The play parks a decent size, splash pool/paddling pool whatever it is is great when it’s a hot day. We went on the river in a rowing boat for an hour which was awesome. Nice little fair there for the younger kids. The only down side of the place was the toilets. Horrendous they was. Apart from that we loved it. Nice place. Also With a few kids if you want to do the fair rides and get a boat on the river it will get a bit pricey

Visited here Friday 7 may 2021 for a day trip with my partner and 1 year old. Was a lovely day out. The cafe serves good food including toasties, gelato, teas, coffees, panini’s. The park was great with lots of variety for children including swings, see saws, slides. Many benches dotted around to be able to sit down after a nice walk around. Mini fair for young children too including cups and saucers, a log ride, mini rollercoaster, kids train! Also mini golf available around £5 per person. All in all a nice family park with lots to do for children and enjoyable for adults to visit too.

We were visiting the town centre and we decided to have a walk down here and have a walk around. The park was very busy with people, There is a place to rent some boats etc, a play area, some rides and a small cafe. We found a bench next to the river and just relaxed watching people in paddle boats, kayaks, paddle boards etc going past.
The park is nice to have a walk around and it is quite big with quite a bit to keep kids entertained. There is some parking which seemed quite full when there. This park is good to have a walk around and relax in if you are visiting the town and the weather is good.

Our first visit to the park. Luckily we got there early and managed to park with no issues however when we left after lunch there was queues of cars waiting for spaces. Note there is a 2m height restriction and free for motorbikes if you can find a space.
Plenty of things to do walks, cafe, mini golf and walk boats. We went on the water boats; booked tickets online while outside the cabin, well worth doing for half an hour of fun.

Took grandson and bike to this park on 4th January 2020 he is 5 and what a time we all had. Grandad and I were helping our grandson to climb “high up”. Plenty of room for him to ride his bike without interfering with other people. The park has plenty to do and very clean and tidy and, of course, the highlight of our visit was an ice cream for the little one, we had tea. We have been to this park before and it never disappoints where it hail, rain, sunshine or snow!
Would certainly recommend this park for all ages and your pets would love it as well.

We were in the area and decided to visit here. The car park is quite big and was very busy, we managed to find a space and the parking charges are ok, bit pricey, but with the time of day we arrived we only had to pay for an hour as the car park is free after 6pm. They had the 'Sausage & Cider festival' in the park. The park is nice to have a walk around with the river going through it. There are some kids rides which only operate for certain times of the year which is a shame. There is a play area for kids which has quite a few things to do. There is a cafe and some toilets here. There is a large field to walk as well as crossing the river there is a fishing pond and another car park which for the park.
Overall this is a nice place to visit

I love this park but the one thing that has really let it down, which is why the low mark,is the appalling car parking pay & display. On a busy bank holiday and during school holidays,it WILL get busy,so why on the over spill carpark is there 2 machines(1 works) and it's so long to get a ticket, takes 10 minutes per ticket to print. There is no attendant in sight but suddenly appear if you dont pay. There must be well over a 1000 cars and 1 working machine...I have spent 1 hr queueing and still have another 30 people in front of me,really spoilt the day!

The staff in the ice cream shop was rude and abrupt charging us for water , customer service was appalling. Coffees taste like sewage water not worth £3.50 . Ice coffee is horrible only good thing is the hot chocolate. We came here for my brothers birthday and I would not reccomend to young families . Then I was rudely told to step to the side by a worker as if they don't want me there .
Toilets smelt horrible and unhygienic, toilet seat had fesis (poo) all over it and the lights wasn't working , some of the locks was broken aswell and no toilet paper in most of the toilets .
Splash pool is not a splash pool it is just like a normal pool quite deep for little children and looks very dirty and unsanitary.
We will not be coming back here again !!

This is a large park in the centre of Warwick just opposite the castle, with the River Avon running through it.
There is plenty of parking. The car park on the town side of the river is a large tarmac car park and is probably the most popular. The car park on the south side of the river is a spacious grass field but can be closed in wet weather as it becomes boggy.
We enjoyed a good walk and had lunch on our car tailgate overlooking the river.

If I park in mytton fields, is the young chap with the boat still operating a ferry or do I have to walk round. We have very fond memories of the little boat, and I now want to bring my granddaughter

Sorry I’ve only just seen your question. I’m afraid I don’t know that but I’m sure if you made a call to the warwick council they would tell you. X

Yes it is but the fair ground rides and the crazy golf do have admission prices but you can get those details of their website.

Is their a picnic area here so don’t have sit on the floor if it’s damp?
Written May 4, 2019
As has been said before, there are a few benches in a fenced off area by the fairground (ideal if you need shade), but there are also some by the play area, which have a much better view of the park. There are plenty of benches with a great Riverside view too.

I don't know if there is supposedly a ban, based on the response above, however there is constantly people walking and playing with their pups in the park, and from memory dog poop bins around the park.
I'd think as long as you're responsible and your dog is under control then their should not be an issue....... a quick google bought up the link below, which states dogs are not allowed in the paddling pool (which makes sense), and on the warwick district council site states dogs are allowed in all Warwcik district parks
