Meeting friends for a few days at Warwick Racecourse campsite, we decided to take part in this Trivia quiz/walk as a way to get to know the town. Jane was an excellent host, with superb communication on booking and nothing was too much trouble to accommodate our needs. Due to the rather windy and cold conditions, we were the only party to take part, but that is not a problem as it is entirely possible to make a competition of this quiz even if you walk together in a group, as we did, in two pairs. The introduction was full and complete and we were all confident of the rules and guidance supplied by Jane. The meeting venue was ideal as the quiz started just a few paces away. The questions were well thought out and with some of them requiring a guess as an answer we were able to compete properly. You have to be observant as some of the pictures in part two of the quiz are not that easy to spot as you are wandering about trying to answer the written questions. For us,the walk passed very quickly and we were astonished that it took us two hours to complete. The circular walk around the town took us to almost every place of interest and this walk alone will leave you thinking that you know the town much better. There are also one or two surprising historical facts that were worth learning. On returning to the venue Jane welcomed us back and we all sat round a table marking our papers. Jane took the trouble to explain more of the history relating to each question, which in itself was very educational. There was a side competition (which I won!) giving extra interest and a bit of fun. This Trivia quiz/walk is not a serious historical tour, just a bit of fun that will guide you around the town. Particularly good for people who have never been to Warwick before, but still interesting for locals who I am sure will discover things they did not know. Jane has taken a lot of care and thought preparing the tour and we are looking forward to joining her for the Stratford on Avon tour sometime in the future.…

We were a group of 11 kids in adult bodies. Jane split us into two teams and sent us off. it was a great way to see stuff you would normally walk past without even noticing it. A very well organised event that we will definitely recommend to anyone staying in Warwick. We are already looking for an opportunity to do the Stratford trail! Thank you Jane for a great morning and for your firm adjudication during the answer session afterwards.…

Good way of getting out and about and seeing what Warwick is all about. Great way to get the feel of Warwick and get your bearings of course it has a rich history but this trail showed all the little nooks and crannies you would miss.

We booked this last minute and boy am I glad we did! We were a group of four and set off from The Globe pub as per our instructions! It took us to parts other tours didn't reach! We meandered down streets and alleys, one of the streets being straight from a picture postcard! It was fun hunting out the clues, realising we had missed one and had to hot foot back up the road! We were against a team of six(unfair disadvantage!!)and we had some great banter with them when we met en route. (I traded a clue with one but don't tell!) This is an excellent chance to really look at the beautiful architecture too. It took us about two and half hours in all. Worth the money and Jane your guide is very knowledgeable …

Nice way to get grown-up family out of the house and mixing. Bit of exercise and a lot of local knowledge.
