The Attic Theatre is the No.1 fringe theatre in Stratford upon Avon and home to award-winning 'Tread the Boards' Theatre Company. In 2016 we begin the year with Romeo & Juliet, the only Shakespearean play being performed in Stratford during the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death. First established in 2009 by Tread the Boards, an award winning theatre Company. This unique, riverside theatre is located in the heart of Shakespeares' birth town. This unique space is housed in a Grade 2 listed 15th century building and seats just 89 people. This makes for a very personal and intimate theatrical experience.

Do not miss this fun performance. There is something here for all age groups. The music and singing was really good - some new songs created just for this production.

What a performance wizard of oz is truley for all ages. I haven't laughed this much in years. Every time I think tread the boards couldn't be better they just raise the bar. To me this production should be on the west end step aside...More

This tiny venue in the attic of Cox’s Yard in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon provides a great intimate atmosphere. Productions show off good talent and every seat is so close to the action.

I’ve seen a lot of shows here and they’re always wonderful. Best theatre in Stratford by far. I strongly recommend booking your tickets now for whatever show is on. You won’t be disappointed!

Hi Shaun, we are running two plays side by side at the moment so on Saturday 16th at 2:30 pm we have Bronte and at 7:30 pm we have Wuthering Heights. Hope one, or both of these appeals to you/your group.
