We visited the park because I won tickets in a charity raffle. We wasn't sure what to expect and it was great! We saw so much and took plenty of photos. We was their quite a few hours and we would go back. The butterfly park is definitely worth a visit.

Persuaded hubby to go and he wasn't keen but he was awed by the exeprience of being in an area where butterflies were flying freely around and landing on you! Very educational as they showed the lavae and the process of becoming a butterfly. Had an ant area with ants walking along a rope with pieces of leaf also snakes,... More

Was'nt at all sure about visiting here as my partner had been already and I'm not a massive insect fan. Walking in to the building felt a little bit like going back in time to a 70's school room. Paid our dues then through the curtain to get gently set upon by some amazing Butterflies. It isnt the biggest place... More

What a disappointment having been many times at this time of year we found the shop had nowhere near the stock that it normally has, the main butterfly area has been altered not for the better we felt, and not as many butterfly's, lots of ugly statues that don't do anything for the place, when you go out for a... The variety of shapes, sizes and colours in the butterflies here, never ceases to amaze me. It is almost like a fantasy world of colour. This visit we also saw the giant hawk moth ( I think that's what it was called ) a huge moth with the enormous wing span that must have been at least 10 inches across.... More

The butterfly museum is a large glasshouse with a very tropical feel and absolutely filled with butterflies. They really are everywhere, at feeding stations, on bushes, on the path... everywhere. They range from small and dainty to large and colourful. They are very tame and you can get close to them. My absolute favourite bit is the ants part of... More

Great to go with children, very interesting with lots more to see than butterfly's. There are fish, snakes, and all sorts of insects. The butterfly's can be tempted to come to your hand at the feeding station, and you can even see them at various stages of life. If your children are doing mini beasts at school etc you will... This butterfly farm is absolutely huge! Also, if taking children, i recommend taking some 20ps to feed the big fish!!
