I had never visited this theatre but, being in Stratford for the day, just looked in to see what was available. Took the backstage tour. It was brilliant. Our tour guide, Tony, was very informative but kept the level just right - enough to inform...More

Saw Love's Labours lost which was a great production. We were in the upper circle but still a good view, might not suit those with vertigo on the front rows. The upper bar is a bit spartan, no chairs to sit down but an adequate...More

This is an excellent production, really good entertainment! Teddy bears of a nervous disposition should beware!

This is really good for all seats have excellent views. The rooftop restaurant has lovely views and reasonable value too.

With £5 tickets on the day for under 25s for a world-class performance, what's not to like? We had an amazing time, and highly recommend it.

Fantastic, the only way to see these plays! Great atmosphere if a little expensive. The performance was well acted and the scenery was brilliant!

We were desperate to see something here again, having loved a performance of King Lear more than 20 years ago. We took our two boys, aged 16 and 10, hoping they would at least sit through the performance even if they didn't enjoy it. However...More

The theatre is georgeous. We were in the gods but could see and hear everything. The sets were amazing and the cast could sing as well as act. Some of them even engaged in Russian dancing. I would definitely go again

Did Love Labours Lost and Loves Labours Won as a pair. One of the best experiences I have had at the RSC theatre. Would be an ideal introduction to Shakespeare for a novice (or even small child).

We visited the theatre as an experience. We bought 'restricted view' tickets although we had no problems with the view at all. For first timers like us I would definitely recommend speaking to the theatre first. It was a good night, something different but boy...More

In July my husband and I will need a taxi from Stratford upon Avon to Chipping Campden after an RSC performance (around 22:30). Should we book ahead or will there be taxis queued ready to drive to Chipping Campden?

We always stay at the Falcon but I've never seen taxis waiting outside, so I would definitely book ahead

Has anyone who sat on the narrow vertical seats (eg in the circle) had any problem sitting there ? Are they comfortable ? I have read they are not fixed and can tip up. We are both in our 40's so pretty articulate but just wondered what the seats are actually like ? eg row D in the circle.

In the main theatre, they do tip up, but the spring is not so strong that it will tip you up too! The seats are more comfortable and a bit more roomy than the Swan.
