The walk around the disused railway is fantastic, an easy walk with mostly flat paths that you can follow. The scenery is lovely, lots of greenery and the architecture of the railway bridges and ironworks are cool to look at too. Shame that other people along the walk aren't as friendly. Would recommend that if you take a dog with... More

This disused railway line makes for an easy walk on a nice day. In wet weather the hardcore surface will mean it remains nit bad underfoot. At the Stratford end there is a pay and display car park. Open some days are a couple of old railway carriage cafes located along the track. The only thing for those that like... More

Flat and safe for kids to do an 11 mile there and back trip. 1st part very pretty as open countryside but second section rather hedged in so less to see. Few intersections only to cross. Quirky railway carriage cafes en route with decent greasy spoon type food ( bacon buttons and good tea etc) recommend going toward Stratford after... More

Went for a good walk along the greenway, as a family we do this quite often as we live at one end of it, it's about 6 miles and we can walk from Meon Vale to Stratford upon Avon town centre (we caught the bus back) but yes a nice flat easy wall through the countryside with the carriages cafe... Regular visitor to Stratford Greenway. Shock today when saw car park charges introduced. Will not encourage visitors to the town or facility. When in Stratford would normally use the walking route most days. Warwks Council Big Mistake.

with a nice sunny day forecast we put our folding bikes in the car and arrived here, the car park is pay and display £2 for 4 hrs or £3 all day, plenty of spaces midweek. the path is quite wide and is ideal if you are getting back into cycling, there are good views of stratford racecourse with benches... Stopped on a Sunday. Lovely walk. Very flat. Walk for miles. Good views. Stopped at cafe for a quick snack which was reasonably priced and friendly service. The only negative was car park. Had to wait for a space and was a dull Sunday. Must be nightmare in summer. Will return but next time with bike which can be hired... More

When we eventually found it, it was great to cycle along, not overgrown like some greenways. It would have been nice to have extra little maps at stopping points, and bits of extra interest. We had a slight problem with one of the gate openings, it was a bit tight, and it was a good job I can lift my... More

Love this! We have twice hired bikes from the railway carriages along there. Nice gentle route to get you back into the swing of cycling ... This time we went thro long marston and dorsington and Welford on Avon . There should be more of these routes for people to enjoy, benches and some picnic benches along the way and... More
