We visited here as a family of four (children aged 9 & 13) in August. The staff were welcoming and great with the kids. The museum is not particularly big and nothing is actually from the tudor age which means that you can lay on the beds, sit on the chairs etc. We didn't spend a long time here but... More

Kids loved it here! Was really interesting and fun to walk around. The building itself is extremely old and worth a visit in itself, but even though it's not that big it was priced fairly.

We were in Stratford for the Shakespeare experience but stumbled across this place and the kids were keen to take a look having learnt a bit about the Tudors at school. It turned out to be the best experience of our weekend. The props are amazing and the attention to detail is great - the information provided is at just... More

Firstly our tour guide 'Kingsley' was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and absolutley hillarious. He made the tour for us. My brother and I stumbled across the tour one afternoon and decided to give it a go. The tour was £7.50 and worth every penny. It was great. Kingsley went into great detail over the stories and the history of the building.... More

My friend and I visited this place without any expectations and boy was it wonderful, the fun in this place is you can touch, sit and feel all the exhibits in there, some of the highlights were Tudors' dining table where you can sit and there are some real spices which you can smell and guess their names, Tudors' bed,... Visited with two teenagers found the man in the desk very informative and friendly and there were some fun activities to do inside like dressing up, writing like shakespeare, going in the stocks, not very expensive and you would probably not spend much more than an hour in here but worth a visit

Tudor World is a great little interactive museum in Sheep Street, Stratford on Avon. From the moment you enter through the cobbled courtyard you step back in time to the 16th century. It is not too big just 10 rooms over 2 floors covering all aspects of Tudor life. You are actively encouraged to take photos, especially when you trying... More

I visited Tudor world as part of a school trip. It was a great day and we all had a lovely experience with the staff who were incredibly enthusiastic about their roles when role playing. They really went out of their way to recreate as best they can despite poor funding. The walking tour was also enjoyable as it took... More

A diversion for a rainy day, but seemed cheaply done with bargain fabric & market rugs to create an improbable recreation of Tudor life. The Tudor bed seemed to have a modern mattress on it! The chain mail hood was by far the most novel thing :) Too much reading, and nothing really engaging for my 12 & 13 year... More

With tongue in cheek, this experience spared no expense.........what a dismal museum in a lovely building, not shown to its full potential, disappointment no real props or interactive displays other than sitting on a throne or reading Shakespeare quotes we use today or poor recreation of the smell of the plague..which had no smell, very poor experience certainly did not used... Dear Anita, We are sorry to hear you did not enjoy the interactive element of our museum: sitting at the dining table; lying on a bed; writing with a quill; going in the stocks; the smell boxes etc. We are a small independent unfunded museum, valiantly maintaining the historic property through the minimal entry fee, whilst surrounded by multi-million pound...
