Our little grandsons were fascinated by the man 'winding' the ferry across the Avon amidst the swans and ducks. For 50p it is a great way to get across the river and experience a little bit of history.

Great way to cross the Avon river, right near Shakespeare Royal Theatre. Cost is 50 cents per person, one way. Plus, it's a very historical 1 minute ride!

a pleasant crossing on a dry day, a perfectly quaint addition to the River Avons boats and is a welcome short cut.
