The canal is incorporated into the river Avon and it really is a lovely area with the gardens and the boats. Plenty of places to eat and drink, and sit. Lovely area to sit and soak in Stratford.

It is pleasant to walk along here for a short while. However it is crowded so you will not experience the tranquility of an isolated canal. Not a destination in itself but part of a walking tour of the area.

Wow were we lucky with the weather in February half term... a stroll along the waterfront in Stratford, it's free and super pretty in the sunshine. Parking is reasonable in Stratford too.
