The best 45 minute sightseeing cruise in Stratford upon Avon!! We offer excellent sightseeing cruises and we're the only company to have a boat with a licensed bar, wonderful cream teas and a Live commentary by our own on-board guides. Our guides share the history - and the amusing unknown history - of Stratford & Shakespeare during your cruise. We're a family business that operateS 365 days a year, river conditions permitting. We can also cater for private parties - birthdays, hen parties, anniversaries, Christmas, schools & coach groups - we do just about everything! Our ghost themed evening cruises are popular with local residents and tourists alike. If you'd like to know more please call or drop us an email.

I highly recommend Bancroft Cruises. My father sadly passed away and as per our religious tradition, ashes are to be scattered in a river/sea. The whole process of booking was very effortless and the staff were helpful. They have a lot of experience in Hindu and Sikh ashes scattering and ensure that everything was done perfectly and with great care... More

With a family party staying the weekend in Stratford upon Avon I wanted an attraction for all the family, covering an age range of 2 years to 74. Bancroft Cruisers did just that. Booking 5 weeks beforehand ensured our reservation - which was a good move as the boat trip is on many people's agenda. Taking around 45 minutes the... More

A very relaxing time on the cruise this afternoon. Tour was amazing and lots of interesting facts pointed out by Romeo. Kids especially interested when he mentioned the Holy Trinity church where Shakespeare is buried is also a Pokemon go gym! Well worth a visit on the "Rita Ellen" if you are passing by although best to book as its... More

We had not booked which is advisable as it is very popular, Fiona accomodated us and welcomed us aboard. Off we went with our guide Romeo.. A relaxing 45 minutes on the river. Drinks are available on board. The guide was very good pointing out things and telling you little facts you may never have found out otherwise about the town and Shakespeare. The 2 for 1 offer with a valid train ticket is available with this cruise.

The boat was beautifully set up, the crew were very welcoming, Romeo the guide was excellent and the afternoon tea was delicious! It was a lovely experience cruising down the river enjoying the views and the commentary whilst supping on tea and enjoying sandwiches and scones for my Mum's 60th birthday.

Last year we had a cruise as part of a coach trip. The coach company organised a cream tea on board. The cruise was lovely, very relaxing and calming. The cream tea however, was not good. The tea was hot and plentiful, but the scone was as dry as a bone. Even so, I would still recommend the cruise.

What a great little find... 45 minutes of relaxation, glass of prosecco and a great guide, Romeo, I kid you not. Thank you to the Captain, Romeo our guide and 'eye candy' and the wonderful very friendly Fiona who took our booking and served our prosecco. Thank you again Tracey, Lynn Liz Alison and Katrina
