Still waiting for a refund for the opera we should have attended last night! There is nowhere to contact apart from the main email in box, which we have, and still nothing. We have 2 more shows booked, so at present we are over £300 out of pocket and have no way of getting our money back. We have been to many shows in the past and were even memebers, but will be very wary of booking anything else.…

Went to see Priscilla,Queen of the desert. Venue was full and the show was superb. Front of House staff very nice and chatty, prices for sweets etc not bad. Brilliantly kept venue.Would thoroughly recommend a visit.

My last visit to the venerable Theatre Royal was 40 years ago so it was interesting to see how the building had fared over the decades. One can only praise the work that has been done to re-create the Edwardian interior and retain the atmosphere and acoustics of a great venue. As for the performance itself, a great show was enthusiastically performed, sets relatively simple but quite in keeping with the Greek island theme. Really nice way to spend an afternoon. A mention too to for the front of house staff who were very helpful. Great to see a full house as well. Two points of advice I would offer are a) leg room in the grand circle is quite tight - not impossible but perhaps tricky for the less able or those over 6’ and b) there are some quirks with online booking when trying to select two seats out of a bloc of three available necessitating using telephone booking instead. Fortunately the telephone team are aware of the issue and the booking was sorted pdq. This could do with fixing though. Looking at the schedule there is a fantastic choice so we will definitely be visiting again.…

Wow! This show was fantastic from the minute it started I couldn’t stop smiling its a real feel good show. The music and singers were fabulous. I haven’t seen the movie but understood the story line perfectly what a laugh. I would recommend this show for adults only as there is a lot of innuendo and a bit of swearing, but don’t let that put you off I would definitely see this one again.…

Visited on Monday with mum to watch Mamma Mia, we had seats in row C in the stalls so great position, the leg room in comparison to the the upper circle is vast, also found the upper circle to be unbearably hot, but stalls were fab. My only negative was the initial music before the curtains lifted I found to be too loud, a little girl in the front row was sobbing as it was hurting her ears, it could be dropped a decibel or two! That aside, the cast, the singing the humour was just incredible, a truly uplifting performance and one not to be missed by any ABBA fans, believe me it’s not like the movie, it’s so much better!…
