We have attended a lot of theatres around the country, and never have I sat in such uncomfortable seats! There was insufficient leg room (and I'm only 5' 5") and the seats don't tip up, which means you have to be a contortionist to field...More

Attended the production of The Magic Flute. Was interested in the different adaptation of performance we saw a couple of months ago in Vienna. This was excellent, singers outstanding as was the orchestra. Great special effects. The Theatre Royal is an outstanding building both inside...More

A great performance in a great venue. Not in the premium stalls, just regular on row j, at 6’2” I had enough leg room to be comfortable throughout the performance. The bar has a good number of options for interval drinks, and the prices are...More

Lovely theatre and very helpful staff my only complaint was the hard seats in the stalls, after 45 minutes I was having to keep shuffling about because the seats were so uncomfortable. We saw Rebus which was a very good show.
