West side story. Awesome. Just walking up to the stone columns outside the theatre is dramatic and pleasure enough. Recently refurbished it is a delight to behold and well worth a visit wherever you sit. Nice well stocked bars, kiosk for sweets , spacious 'facilities'. Staff always friendly and helpful. Good disability access. Lots of early bird theatre cafes/ restaurants... More

I was in Newcastle and had a spare evening so looked to see what was on at the theatre. That's Entertainment sounded like my kind of music, so I was all set to buy a ticket for £31 when the woman at the desk said that if I came back at 5:30 I could ask for a standby ticket at... More

Went to see Thats Entertainment. Paid £41.00 for a ticket x 4. First half lasted 55 minutes, Second half lasted 45 minutes. Total let down from the start, not even as good as many amateur productions. Mismatched songs and no flow through the eras covered. The Overtones brought their own fans by the looks of it, they must be loyal... More

Went to see 'The 39 Steps', staff were friendly, although it was busy we were seated very quickly and excellent service was provided throughout. Highly recommended!

A visit to the theatre with my family to see 39 steps. Have been to this theatre many times but not since the refurbishment. Impressive building. Very comfortable seats with plenty of leg room. Purchased ice cream at the interval & was given a plastic bag to put our rubbish in.

First visit to this theatre having seen Derren in 5 others around the country and it was perfect. The old style building was perfect for setting the scene and the type of show. We were on the front row which with a slightly raised platform on the stage could give you a bit of a stiff neck if your a... More

Lovely building, friendly & helpful staff. The seating was particularly comfortable with excellent leg room (I'm 6' 3"). Top class acoustics and a great view. Super experience and free parking in Dean Street multi storey. Overall very good experience.
