We found The new City Library not only a nice building to visit but also a very convenient location to get information about Newcastle , access the Internet (free) , have tea or coffee and use the facilities (toilets) . The staff is quite helpful...More

Call in here now and again to get a greater range of books to our local library. Nice variety although kids non-fiction section is better in the Gosforth Library.

Not just for book borrowing. This place is a social hub with exhibitions, job centre, cafe, shop and full of local information. Pop in, it doesn't bite

New City Library is an example of ultra modern library with the latest technology and gadget. I love doing my school work in this place and my children love visiting the library every Saturday. The children facilities are brilliant.
