What an atmosphere watching the Newcastle V Villa game! All the staff were great considering how busy it was, and a lad called Mike still managed to make some time to help us get some free drinks. Now my favorite local pub. They even offer transport to the stadium now on match days, never heard any other pubs do this! Great stuff!

Thursday morning november2022
I requested a Traditional breakfast and tea and explained I am diabetic and didn’t want hash browns . The lady was very welcoming helpful and polite and the chef kindly substitute it with an egg. Superb breakfast ; tasty bacon and sausage and superb service . The lady could not have done more .
Background music very low which is what I like
Highly recommended place to visit

Lovely pub with a lovely atmosphere! I was served by a girl called Ellie and she had great customer service and made sure we had what we wanted. I have visited a couple of times now, with family for food and also nights out with my friends so there is something for everyone. Will definitely be returning.

Once again we called in at the 'Perri' and still can't beat the food or the friendly service.
The staff now recognise us and always come over to see us, usually the topic is about what we should try and we did alter our choice this time - I just love the steaks here.
This time I went for large fish and chips, I absolutely loved it !
The better half still went for the steak and again cannot fault.
I have said on a number of times, if leaving the metro centre, heading North, you are driving past - call in and give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
Five Star all the way !

First time in this pub and it was lovely, food was amazing and excellent service from a very friendly lad called Mike. Would defo go back and would highly recommend. Mike keep up your hard work and more pubs should have more people like you with your excellent skills and more importantly excellent manors!!!

Well what can I say, Mike certainly became magic Mike. Going above and beyond and was very attentive to my ice cream needs. He Is very friendly and passionate about his job. He certainly needs to be given a raise, I raise my glass to him.

Mike....or magic Mike as known by our group. He was so very attentive to all of us. He really made us smile and it a night to remember. Came in on his day off out of the goodness of his own heart to make so many peoples day brighter.
He was honestly a great server, very friendly and helpful. Made the night fun and was helpful from helping with our reservation to making us welcome all night. Thank you very much

Great family meal enjoyed by all.
Good food made even better by Eat Out to Help Out and the Peregrine’s own discount on top. Lovely family friendly atmosphere. Zoe who served us was very helpful and friendly. The pub was very clean and we all felt safe with the Covid measures they had in place. We will definitely be going back again. 😀👍🏻

Would love to rate the staff so highly, in particular Zoe and Emily. Extremely friendly, very attentive and responsive and always ensuring the customers are like after and happy. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice atmosphere and friendly staff.

The past few times I have been I have been served by a lovely girl named Sarah. Her service was great and made sure to check and see that we were happy with everything. The food was beautiful I enjoyed every part of my experience everytime I have been, Will definitely be returning.
