It was a nap my twin brother Stephen and I would visit Brewdog Newcastle on our weeks holiday in this vibrant city, we both really enjoy the beers brewed by this brilliant brewery.
This Brewdog is so good ,set over two floors, an industrial style decorative scheme throughout and lots of tables, its a cool place to enjoy some quality beers.
We were here on a Sunday evening, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of the bar team, we both chose Brewdog punk ipa, these were served in excellent condition, we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great bar we were in.
My ipa was really good, a big fan of this beer ,its one of Brewdogs flagship beers ,a crisp ,well balanced ipa, hints of toffee, a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a slight bitter finish, a classic British ipa ,so refreshing on such a hot evening.
A big fan of Brewdog, in my home town of Liverpool we have a Brewdog bar and I am a frequent visitor, got a real taste for their beers ,this one in Newcastle is just as good.
We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to this Brewdog bar we were totally impressed.
This Brewdog bar is easy to locate along Dean Street.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday, Midday till Midnight.
A great Brewdog bar ,most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Bar staff are amazing - special shout out to Raz who educated us, gave us tasters and a journey through the many different brews on offer. His passion and knowledge on the subject made our evening. Started off on the Planet Pale, ended up on Holly Goat Blood Witch, staggered home.

I purchased the beer tasting for my partner for Christmas and we decided to book in last minute on a Friday in January, I wasnt hopeful with it being last minute but Joe booked us in with no issues and we had a table for 3PM. The day we decided to go we found by chance there was also another deal on for the Gin Flight, I called to enquire to see if we could do that whilst also there. I spoke to Jamie on the Friday who also turned out to the same guy I believe who served us most of the day who told me it was not a problem as we already had a table. We were booked a nice quiet booth upstairs over looking the bar, perfect for a chilled afternoon people watching, beer tasting and eating pizza. Jamie talked us through the options with the beers and all the options, the flavours and the different types of brews. The pizza menu was quirky and a bit different, suitable for vegetarians also. We both opted for the meat pizza, I requested no chilli flakes and again nothing an issue. With the beer tasting which I got on groupon (£9.99 per person for 4 quarter beers and a pizza each) freshly made and delicious. We decided to have the beers and the pizza then a little later with we ordered the cheese board which came with the gin flight which I had purchased off itson (£14 for 6 gins) 3 large tonics, I asked the second guy serving if we could have a little bit of lemonade and would pay the additional but was told it was fine, and out came a bottle of cloudy bottled lemonade. The cheese board was delicious and we have had a lot of people enquire about it since we have been. Great selection of cheese and crackers, lovely gin all varied flavours. It did say on the voucher a pamphlet but unsure what that was. In fairness the staff were very busy when we left but didnt get a chance to say Thankyou but we would 100 percent be back and have recommended to friends and family already. Thanks again guys for a fantastic afternoon!I was going to purchase 2 of the little beer glasses but forgot 🙈 So sure we will be back soon!Give it a go!

Visited in August 2020 and we have pre-booked a table and advised we would have the table for an hour. When we arrived we were told there was an hour wait on pizzas... pizzas are basically the only thing on the menu! We were told this was due to them being busy but with the current covid situation they had even less people than normal and those eating food were required to book ahead - so that made zero sense! We also witnessed multiple people chasing their food orders at the bar.
We decided to wait it out and the pizzas were okay... nothing special but fine! Would not have paid usual price for them though. We got a side of olives which took an hour to arrive too and had no extras like herbs, garlic etc and they tasted and looked exactly like the 70p jarred olives from Tesco but cost £5!! Absolutely the biggest rip off.
The staff were lovely bar one gentleman who was very unapproachable. The drinks were of course great but unlikely to visit for food ever again. Pizza Punks is very close and MUCH better!

Will definitely be visiting again. Arrived and were seated straight away. Place is uniquely decorated and had a good atmosphere. We had the itison voucher so got 2 pizzas and a bottle of wine for £19. Such a bargain. Pizzas were probably the best I’ve had in a long time. Wine was fine, nothing special but for the price, you can’t complain. It was served in a chiller so that’s always a good sign. I had a side of garlic Mayo which tasted great. Staff were really nice. Was a little disappointed they didn’t do cocktails but that’s not a major issue. Will definitely be back.

We received a frosty welcome from cold and supercilious staff followed by a recommendation to have the tesco beer. Got scolded like children and threatened with ejection for standing up. Atmosphere was naturally non-existent so we left. Not a good vibe....

Hi Bethana, Really sorry you had a bad experience, I can only apologise. Although everyone is required to be on a different standard of late in terms of control of the environment, I couldn't condone staff acting high and mighty in any way. Will speak to the staff on the matter and if you have any more feedback you'd like to give feel free to email us at newcastlebar@brewdog.com Many Thanks Joe

We did the Brew Dog beer school with Assistant Manager, Ed. He was amazing. His enthusiasm for beer and brewing was infectious and his knowledge and ability to tell a story kept us engaged for the whole time. And of course the selection of beers was top notch.

I visited with a colleague last Friday early evening, or should I say I tried to. I was greeted by the most bad mannered female receptionist. First stern question “Have you booked” second command “Wait outside” third statement “ Fully booked” all spoken with a terrible attitude not a hint of customer service. Early evening I can understand being fully booked so not a problem, but a polite attitude costs nothing. Other people as we were leaving were greeted in exactly the same manner. Well that’s at least four future potential customers you have lost.

We had the deal for gin flight and cheese board . It was excellent value gins and tonics complimented each other and the barman was excellent at explaining them to us . Cheese board did not disappoint. Tried some of their beers again all explained how they were brewed /strength etc. I would highly recommend a visit if in Newcastle we will be back next time .

We visited today, prebooked with a travelzoo voucher, were greeted by friendly staff, shown to a seat after ysing the app to check us in. We had a flight of 4 beers each and a sharing cheeseboard which was very nice. We then ordered pizzas, which were tasty, homemade and served hot on a board. We were given a lovely book all about beer, which includes recipes, and we also purchased 4 glasses with the brewdog logo. Something different and was nice to try.
