it is really good. the alter was made of polished wood and is adorned with pictures of the Sri guru parampara (the disciplic succession of masters of the sect of Hinduism that the temple follows) and have musical instruments with the pictures and they have offerings of fruits. the actual murtis at the temple are golden in complexion and are adorned with silk cloth, embroidered with pearls and semi precious stones, are multi-coloured in a Chinese style with designs of mountains, lakes, flowers and trees. Their crowns are also made of silk and are also embroidered with pearls and semi precious stones. They have multi-coloured silk garlands and necklaces made of semi precious stones. The murti of Srila Prabhupada has beautiful peach coloured gowns and multi coloured garlands.

The people are extremely nice and friendly. The arti is very intense and beautiful. Lots of really nice people come on festival days. At the end of the programme they serve delicious prasadam. It is an amazing spiritual experience. I hope you enjoy it there. Hare Krsna!

I went to this wonderful a few times & every time I was overwhelmed with hospitality & friendliness of the hosts. The talks are very enlightening, the food is absolutely delicious, the music & chanting is so energising, the people are great. I thoroughly recommend to every spiritual seeker! They have chanting evening every Wednesday evening, Bhagavad Gita talk on Friday evenings & Sunday feast on Sundays.

I went to visit the centre through a friend's recommendation. I went for their 'Sunday feast' programme and was incredibly impressed.

I received a warm welcome everyone, was explained the philosophy though a enlivening talk which was followed by an ecstatic mantra meditation session (who said meditation has to be boring?!). And ofcourse the title of the programme didn't disappoint - the feast was the best Indian meal I have ever had. Couldn't help myself for seconds!

It was wonderful to see the timeless philosophy practiced so practically in today's age. The Hare Krishna's do it perfectly.

I will definitely be back. In the meantime I've got some great books from the gift shop to keep me going :)

My husband and I visited the beautiful Iskcon Newcastle Centre on a Sunday and we had a lovely time. We were welcomed by beautiful smiles and everyone was so caring. We loved the melodious music, the enthusiastic dancing and the inspiring seminar. The free, sumptuous vegetarian meal served at the end was out of this world. What a wonderful place to be and forget about all the hustle and bustle of life. We had so much fun and would highlt recommend everyone to experience this little heaven!

It was an amazing experience and a real eye opener! Hard to believe that amidst the concrete jungle of Modern life which is full of stress and anxiety, there actually exists a place which is full of peace, bliss, and happiness! Went there and listened to an out of the ordinary speech which was followed by a succulent out of the ordinary free full meal! Couldn't get any better! Fantastic people, Big Up Respect!!

This place was decent but it wasn’t the most interesting experience I have ever had but the person who owns is really friendly. The shop was ok and the main room was pretty good but this place should be a lot bigger. The temple itself looks amazing and the gold dome was absolutely fantastic.

We visited on their 'Sunday Feast' program. Very warm and friendly welcoming. Everyone there made us feel very comfortable and there was such a nice feast. Amazing kirtan by the lovely devotees and a wonderful lecture. The deities were beautifully dressed on a well-decorated altar. The Gaura Arati kirtan was so ecstatic where everybody was dancing!! Amazing experience!

Lots of music, dancing, feasting and friendly people which brings me back time and time again! This place has great atmosphere to dwelve deeper into philosophical thoughts and questions with like-minded people which is undoubtly very enjoyable. The experiences here are unlike any other - wonderful dramas (as part of their monthly festivals) and mantra meditation ending with a delicious vegetarian meal and dessert! All prepared and delivered by very warm-hearted and open-minded people.
