Such a great stadium, not only for toon supporters.. but football lovers in general. The sheer size of the stadium is amazing, then with the atmosphere it's breathtaking. Walking out into the stands and seeing the pitch with the crowd roaring is such an amazing experience.

I'm a SAFC Supporter enough said but still have to admit that it's a very big stadium. It's close to the centre so it's ok for Geordies I guess

I've been up here for an away game. I would warn that you need to be reasonably healthy to get up the stairs to the away end. There are a few flights to get up. It's not the worst place to go though. The bars sell a good variety of grub for a football ground and it's a least tasty... More

Had the most wonderful tour of this famous ground. Was taken everywhere you could think of, Directors boxes, Conference suites, Computer room for children, Highest point in the stadium, pitchside, changing rooms, media centre, lasted just short of 2 hours, great value for money. Wonderful tour guide so friendly(what he doesnt know about Newcastle isnt worth knowing) , had a... More

I am a rugby union follower and bought tickets for the RWC Samoa v Scotland fixture at this ground on 10th October 2015 in the disabled area, one wheelchair ticket for myself and an able-bodied seat ticket for my able-bodied carer, my son. The whole ground oozed sheer rugby union-based friendliness. There was no juvenile cat-calling or bitterness between rival... More

Like other recent reviewers, we visited for the Rugby. Having never been to a home international, I never really considered that this is the nearest the Scottish fans would have to a home match. What a great atmosphere! Access was easy, the queues were reasonable for a big event like this and food and drink were reasonably priced for a... More

We had a fantastic time watching South Africa play Scotland. we had great front row seats which enhanced the experience. The stadium is well marked making access easy. Only challenge was getting a beer, it took a while, but this is the same all over the world. The stadium is great with good flood lighting and easy viewing. The whole... More

Bang in the centre of Newcastle and a little tricky to find as bizarrely no crowds for the game until right near the ground. Compared to Millenium Stadium in Cardiff, poor relation. Rows were massive with about 30 seats on a row, thus as we were in the middle really really annoying that you were constantly having to stand up... More

Attended this stadium for a WC rugby match having previously been for the footy (many years ago). Signage is a little confusing for first timers, and the turnstyles are positively evil if you are large or have a damaged rib cage and caused real pain. There is an option to use a gate, and if in doubt, see a steward... More
