I saw an exhibition of older, local photographs lately. It was great really brought back memories, very few were posed photos they were just snapshots of time. Really enjoyed it and the gallery is beautiful in itself.

The quality of displays is outstanding being married to a photographer we have been many times. The gallery has been improved and more accessible with toilets. Staff very welcoming .

Fascinating art exhibition over 2 floors, depicting the North, in much poverty, over the past 40 years. Recent enough, but seemed like a different world! Exhibition was free to enter, but donations were welcome.

This small, fascinating gallery is independent and reached by a flight of ancient worn stone steps. Not sure about lifts etc. Constantly changes so go anytime for great photos and exhibits that provide an insight into some aspect of somebody's life somewhere on the planet.
