Jesmond dene is a lovely green space close to the city centre. There's a variety of different paths to take and it links to a few parks. Beautiful and the sound of the water makes it very peaceful.

Great for kids and picnic. The animal corner is great for children. There are benches to picnic and a lovely waterfall too to enjoy.

We had a wonderful walk around the park and looked at what was in the bird cages. Had a drink in the cafe before leaving. Best visited on a dry day.

Lovely free park to visit, couldn't find access to waterfall but it was still lovely, only disappointing thing was travelled to top of park, and cause the cafe was closed no toilets were available.
