I visit here often and love all the walks and scenery and recently had a guided tour which was very informative and I can highly recommend. The only downside is the cafe in Millfield House, this is very basic not at all inviting, I am sure with a little thought this could be a wonderful addition to the Dene, even... More

A most pleasant way of spending some time in nature. The river with waterfall and old bridges is worth discovering.

I used to live in Jesmond in the 1970s and I enjoyed going to Jesmond Dene. It was lovely to re-acquaint myself with it just a few days ago. I had forgotten how much is there. I had forgotten about the ruined mill, very picturesque. I can remember the waterfalls, which are delightful. Jesmond Dene is a long thin valley... More

We live fairly close to Jesmond Dene Park and regularly like walking round it. Several routes to take and you can clock up a few kilometers. Although it is in central Newcastle you don't feel like that. The small animal park is a nice touch.

Jesmond Dene is a special place with lots of well maintained paths, that are safe and varied with flat or steep inclines. Pets corner is very well maintained with happy animals , just a magical place to visit

Jesmond Dene is a wonderful resource. It is very narrow so you are always near housing but you really would not realise that, especially at the north end. We should be grateful to Lord Armstrong for putting it together and gifting it to the people of Newcastle.

Lovely place, visit again and again, gets busy at peak times but the place is lovely when less people around.

The Dene is a great place to walk, cycle or exercise the dog. The Dene never gets 'old'. There is a nice cafe and pets corner. It is popular with runners and locals
