The guide for the tour was eloquent, passionate and enthusiastic, adding to an already interesting tour. The tour lasted about 2 hours and I enjoyed every minute. I highly recommend giving it a go, even if you are an old sceptic like me. The location and historical information was as interesting as the ghostly subject matter.

My friends and I had a private ghost walk tour on Friday 22 November. Dave the guide was brilliant, engaging and informative and included everyone at some stage of the walk. The tour was interesting and informative and we learned so much about the history of the castle and the surrounding area. It was also quite scary and the atmospheric backdrop of the castle and the keep made for a really different but fantastic event. Thank you to Dave - we were a group of six girls all asking questions but he was excellent and such a great story teller the entire group thoroughly enjoyed it.

We decided to book onto the tour last minute to go on our first ghost walk/tour as we both had interests, we did not expect a group cancellation last min so the guide Steve Taylor made it a very special and personal tour! We used some good equipment and there was some things we heard and felt, a high pitched 1 second cry and stones being thrown and the EMF (electromagnetic field) meter was going nuts, (il not say where and when this happened to not spoil it incase anyone else does the tour) Fantastic night all in all and I was very scared and nervous before we started but was eager and confident on finding things and became more excited to see phenomena! Tour lasted 2 hours and was only 9.99 such good value for money would of been happy to pay 20+ for that experience again! Thanks Alone in the dark and Steve Taylor I will be doing the Extreme tour next time!!!

For me this was the second time this year I took a group of students on this tour. On both occasions we had the same guide Steve. He really has some very interesting stories to tell and he does so with great enthousiasm. Even though the age group to tell these stories to is not the easiest ( 13-16 ) he manages to interact with each and everyone of them. The greatest sceptics among them could not explain some of the experiences. That was awesome. Thanks Steve for two interesting tours !
