We were given gift vouchers for a walk with llamas, It was truly a fantastic experience, the animals were so friendly and well behaved. We went for a walk on to Hambledon common leading them, when we stopped they stopped, how ever thy did like to have a chew on the vegetation along the way. All in all a wonderful experience!

The Merry Harriers/Surrey Hills Llamas put on a lovely `English Country' birthday party for my 10 year old which was loved by all. The llamas are real characters and we had a baby one for the birthday girl who was extremely cute. It was such fun and a really wonderful low-tech afternoon. We had our picnic at the end of the trek back at a room in the Merry Harriers which gave the girls a chance to play some party games and have a chat together. We took a chill-pack with ice creams in for the break on the walk. The pub were really accommodating, thoroughly recommended experience considering the current trendiness of llamas!

What a wonderful way to spend two hours, walking with a llama through the beautiful Surrey woodland, stopping regularly while they munch on the hedgerow. We had Louie and Seriyah, two very placid, gentle natured llamas who were happy to stroll along at a very leisurely pace. Colin Stoneley, who owns the eleven llamas, runs the llama trek from the field behind the Merry Harrier pub near Godalming, he was a pleasure to chat to as he shared his enthuiasm for such lovely animals. Highly recommended.

Llama trekking offered something a bit different as a birthday treat for a 12 year old. The llamas set the pace. It's a leisurely stroll through beautiful scenery with a delicious picnic included. We were out for about 4 hours so whilst the ticket price might not sound cheap it is good value. The pub looked good too! Thoroughly recommend.

I booked the winter morning llama trek for my husband's birthday and it did not disappoint. We were the only couple booked in and so had our own llama each and John, our guide, was great company proving to be friendly and knowledgeable. The weather got windier and more drizzly as our trek went on but this did not take away from what was a truly unique and wonderful experience. The llamas were so calm and amicable and a joy to spend time with. The Merry Harriers also enhanced the whole experience. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the food was good. Sensible footwear is required as as you would expect, areas were quite muddy. All in all, a great experience we hope to do again in the summer. Highly recommend!
