Always enjoy an outing to Hatchlands for the walks aeou d the grounds. In winter we spotted fieldfares, green woodpecker and deer. Children can enjoy the unusual tree house and everyone can admire the grazing cattle and the views.

We were disappointed to discover that the house was not open along with its restaurant on the day of our visit. Our fault of course but it does underline how essential it is to check opening days even with properties of the significance of Hatchlands...More
