Great for good beer fans
Feb 2020
Very interesting brewery tour, with lots of beery facts without ever becoming too techy. Tour conducted by head brewer who was really passionate and knowledgable, and you always have a beer in your hand, rather than having to wait until the end. Shere Drop is the current Champion beer or Britain so they have every reason to be proud. A really worthwhile trip, well done.

Good craft beer

Small brewery behind the main building at Denbies. All draught beer with no bottles. Purchase in 2 pint /4 pint and above measures. Recommend Shere Drop as a choice. Effectively a startup operation with no thrills . Beer is the strength here.

Nothing particularly interesting here

We visited the brewery recently but didn't stay long as there wasn't much to see really, tiny shop with very few beers, would of been nice to of been able to have a small sample of what they brew but alas nothing
Alot of potential but unfortunately I found it disappointing I'm afraid.

Down to earth brewery

We were visiting Denbies vineyard and initially didn't realise there was also a brewery on site. The shop is tiny with only 3 types of beer to taste/drink on site. There is only an outside seating area. There was a steady flow of customers for both tasting and for take-outs. That is probably because the beer is so nice.

A little GEM, hidden away behind Denbies

Have frequented this premises time and time again, and always impressed by both the service and the quality of the products - BEER, that's proper BEER, not lager, not fizzy but proper BEER! Currently four to whet your whistle, Shere Drop, Ranmore Ale, Greensand IPA and Gilt Complex (there are others depending on the season). Being very familiar with Shere & Ranmore, I opted for the Greensand and Gilt - having walked into the brewery to the smell of hops and seeing the barrows laid out ready for processing just enhances the experience even more. Choosing my normal container (the two pint milk type bottle) I purchased two of these for £5 each - can't ask for better! Straight home and once everything sorted out, a sit down and a relaxing draught! These containers work out at just over two pints so happy days indeed. Will always return when passing and will ALWAYS recommend to all and sundry - thank you so much Surrey Hills!

Good tour and lovely beer
May 2018 • Couples
Did the tour last weekend and really enjoyed it.

You get four beers in the hour and a half which is plenty, but don’t expect any extra on top as you might get in other tours.

The tour in interesting and well explained.

It’s good. And the beer is seriously good.

Nice ales
Apr 2018 • Family
Some nice ales here. Visited while going round Denbies wine estate. Good selection of Draught ales and a few bottles. The Draught is good but supplied in plastic "milk" bottles for carry out so goes flat pretty quick

Great Beer
Oct 2017 • Friends
Went here for a couple of beers with my husband, he had a pint of the Ranmore Ale and I had a pint of Collusion. A few other people sitting outside, it was a lovely sunny day and great atmosphere. We were served by a nice lady with a big smile and felt really welcome. As we live locally we can't wait to go back.
