Came to the vineyard as a non-drinker, wondering if it was a good choice. Went on the train ride and it was absolutely fascinating (loved the story about the buried tanks!) We came here for the indoor wine tasting with a groupon voucher. We were given an informative tour by the guide around the indoor working of the winery. Great view from the restaurant out onto the vineyards. Very busy for a Wednesday lunchtime but great tasty food. Although service was a little slow it took 40 minutes for the starter to be served. A really enjoyable Day the tour was given by a lovely Lady a close friend of the family who was very informative and a fantastic sense of humour and then enjoyed afternoon tea in the conservatory

the train ride with the celebration wine was very thoughtful! the children were drunk on the scenery while the adults complemented with the wine! the commentator was excellent, recommended day out for everyone. the galleries are free. the train ride has a reasonable fare.
