First night out since lockdown commenced and I chose to visit two of my favourite venues in the town. Although this venue has undergone substantial changes, I was certainly not disappointed. Feeling a bit cautious I was instantly put at ease by being greeted promptly on arrival. My friend and I were given a table indoors and purchased a delicious bottle of fizz. The perfectly chilled, crisp bubbles were served promptly by staff who were friendly and attentive. The ambiance was warm and buzzing. It was both lovely and refreshing to see so many people out and helped to ease both my friend and I into a sense that life has continued after the period of ‘lockdown’. Truly, everything about the Riverside is tremendous. The staff, the food, the location all are really faultless. And all done in a genuinely unique setting, where else do we know that serves fabulous food, wonderful wine and with a classy theatre/cinema right next door. I cannot over-recommend this place enough. When in beautiful Woodbridge and looking for a magical experience, go here. It will not disappoint. Elegancy sufficient!…

The cinema now has new seating, which is very comfortable and they have also completely refurbished the loos. All the big films are shown here.

Very comfortable seats although no central aisle making it difficult for a quick escape if necessary. Parking in paying car park adjacent with disabled parking also fee paying but double the time. Ideal for a day out as main thoroughfare a walk away with plenty of places to eat.
