This was a belated birthday gift and a highlight of a recent trip to Bury. I've done several smaller brewery tours at home and abroad so it was nice to see how one of the big boys did things. The tour guide was very funny, all the staff were friendly and helpful and the tour itself was informative and interesting... More

We had a lovely brewery Tour. It was very interesting and the guide was very knowledgeable. Definitely value for money and we would recommend. The tasting at the end of the tour was wonderful and we now have a few new favorites! This was a great way to spend a couple of hours on a Saturday. Nice relaxed, friendly and... More

The tour of the Greene King brewery was very well organised. It was led by Maureen on the day we visited; she was really well informed, took an obvious pride in the company she works for and made us feel very welcomed on the tour. She had lots of history and fun anecdotes to tell us. There are lots of... More

Firstly, a big thank you to Susan for an interesting and entertaining afternoon. Having lived in Bury St Edmunds and having friends and relatives who work at the brewery we have only just done the tour!! Susan was very informative throughout and the views from the roof are amazing. The guys really enjoyed the tour, but the tasting was their... More

Susan was fun and informative - a really good tour guide. Great views from the top of the brewery. The equipment is beautiful. Lots of stairs so a great workout as well.

What a way to start the day! Our guide, Maureen, couldn't have made our visit any better. A very educational and humorous tour which gave us great insight in to the Greene King 'family'. And the beer tasting at the end hit the spot too!Would highly recommend if staying in the area. If you have a chance, pop down the... More

A quite excellent tour of the home of Greene King and Morlands breweries. The tour lasted a good hour, culminating with some fine ale refreshment.

A integral part of the town's history, a tour of the brewery or even just a quick visit to the immaculately presented Beer Cafe (lovely cakes, cheese straws, chutneys or hot sausage rolls) is an absolute must. On your own (like me) or as a group the tour is great value. You'll be taken around the brewery and provided a... More

The tour is of the old Brewery, the process starts at the top of the building and there are views over Bury St Edmunds when on the roof. You follow the beer making process down the building ending up on the ground floor. Be careful you are on open grate flooring at times and sensible shoes, flat are required. At... More
