This is a lovely unspoilt place to visit. It is a lovely place to walk alongside the sea. There are plenty of places to eat both along the sea front and in the streets behind..lovely clean streets and a nice atmosphere to the place

A,delightful beach that stretches a good few miles. Mostly shingle with expansive views where you can see large ships and Ferries. In Aldeburgh you can still find the old fishermans sheds where after going out to sea they prepare and sell their catch. Quaint, much...More

I was disappointed to find the main beach was closed to dogs for such a long time, right up the the end of September. I was told if you walk right to the end you can dog walk there but didn’t find that out til...More

It’s not the best beach in the area - it’s certainly not a ‘holiday’ beach as it’s nearly all stones. It’s a lovely walk though, from Aldeburgh to thorpness is a lovely walk. Conditions weren’t the best but really enjoyable

Great long beach with stunning views, but the pebbles are rather uncomfortable, so make sure to bring suitable footwear

Lovely shingle beach with fabulous skies - some parking in the town and more out towards Thorpeness. Even on a bank holiday you can find your own little spot. There's an old fashioned model boat lake on the promenade and a nice kiosk for drinks/snacks,...More

If you get here early (9-10am) you can normally park on the street. Then it is time to head towards the beach. It is all pebbles and you really feel like you have had a work out by the time you get to the seashell...More

Bit tricky but behind the high street is cheep beech side pay and display parking. Loved the separation of the shops / restaurants from the beech front and the miles of pebbles. So quaint to wander.

Pebbles are great but not easy to walk on. Aldeburgh beach is short in sand but makes up for this with a smokehouse, a fish shack and various fishing boats. A truly wonderful vista.
