A classic inland links beautifully presented and a proper test of golf. Probably too many long par 4s for my liking, but still an enjoyable challenge. Traditional clubhouse with excellent dining facilities. Good golf shop with friendly welcoming professional.

Excellent moorland course. Very natural in a prolonged dry spell with wide scorched fairways & rapid brown greens. Lots of bunkers, light rough punitive & bracken etc murderous.
