A classic inland links beautifully presented and a proper test of golf. Probably too many long par 4s for my liking, but still an enjoyable challenge. Traditional clubhouse with excellent dining facilities. Good golf shop with friendly welcoming professional.

Winter Warmer as a Birthday treat. We were made so welcome. The course was great apart from the greens being spiked which is to be expected with winter golf. Booking experience was easy. Welcomed by the resident Pro Keith Preston. Simon behind the bar was...More

This is one of those old fashioned clubs that some people hate but I rather like. Two balls only, long socks with shorts etc. I was part of a large group and we were very well looked after. The course is a great test for...More

I always love playing on this beautiful course, not least because it only allows 2 balls which means an excellent pace of play. Occasionally the greens are not as fast or as good as they ought to be, but other than that the course is...More

It is seldom that one finds clubs of that age on the continent hence it is a honour to play green-fee on a golf course that originates from the year 1884. It is not a long but yet tricky course with all the ondulations and...More

It was blowing .. a two club wind I would say so made for on interesting round. Worth getting a course guide or a good GPS to navigate the course as a good many bunkers which were intimidating from the tees. Interesting bunker design on...More
