My wife and I took our kids aged 17,16,15 and 12 to this facility and what a fantastic afternoon was had by all! The staff were professional in their adherence to COVID restrictions as well as giving excellent health and safety instructions. The safety harnesses were very robust yet comfortable, and individually fitted and secured by the staff. The climbing apparatus itself is incredibly strong, well designed, substantial in layout and ingenious. Once the toggle at the end of your safety cord is clipped into its slot - you can go anywhere on all levels with 100% confidence that even if you lose your footing the worst outcome will be briefly being suspended. I’m not brilliant with heights, but by the end of the session I was on the highest level tackling the trickiest crossing points. Typing this the day after I can feel slight stiffness in my arms, hands and legs - but most of this was caused by ‘over gripping’ and over tensing when looking down at the ground many feet below. But this is a natural reaction and was far outweighed by the adrenaline buzz caused by challenging myself to the many crossing points which varied in difficulty. The size of the frame and ability negotiate around people means you can suit a path to suit your own ability and there’s to pressure to push yourself any harder than you want to. As stated we all had a brilliant time and were also rewarded with great views across the River Tees and of the Cleveland Hills. The venue was easy to find being just off the A66. Ample parking including disabled bays. There were also toilets and vending machines on site as well as lockers which take 50p pieces. You need to bear in mind that your pockets have to be totally empty when on the apparatus and yes this includes phones too - so no photos unless you have a friend/relative on the ground. Obviously if you’re on the top level and drop something it could cause serious harm to people 60 feet below you, so the empty pockets rule is understandable. After you’ve finished you’re only a 5 minute drive from Teesside Park should you need fuel, food, shopping, takeaway etc.

Today was our 1st visit. I booked in our 19, 15 & 10yr old in for an afternoon climb. Their covid safety measures were excellent and the place was clean and tidy. The staff were helpful before my trip(through messenger) and great during the session. Our 3 climbers had a great time and we enjoyed watching from below.

Visited with children aged 6 and 8 and had a really fun hour. Some paths are easier than others to navigate and the top level proved too much for the 8 year old but there was still plenty to occupy with the zip lines as well while the more adventurous 6 year old clambered quite happily at the very top. Plenty of staff on hand to provide help and encouragement if needed. Well worth a visit.

Located by the Tees barrage with good parking available. Pre book on line and its cheaper. A wooden high structure of 4 levels with ropes and bridges, cargo nets,to navigate with zip lines included, all whilst safely harnessed and permanently attached to the structure. A brief safety talk is given before entering the trail. My 6 year old grandson understood the rules so there is nothing at all complicated about it. Once you are on the structure it is entirely down to you as to what part of the air trail you go on....stay on the 1st level or head for the top. My grandson was all over the place, however my granddaughter was not so brave and had to be coaxed by the very good staff that are overseeing the trail.Lorraine was the member of staff who saw my granddaughter struggling so she came to help and spent most of the hour with her, eventually persuading her onto the lower zip line. a lot of patience was shown both by Lorraine and indeed by members of the public who were waiting to go on the zip line. Many thanks for your understanding and a big thank you to Lorraine. Whilst here take a look at the barrage and try to spot the seals that hang around the barrage.
