Poor service!!
Oct 2019 • Family
Has my child’s party here a little while ago and staff were disgraceful!! Tried to charge me for children who weren’t with the party thankfully I could prove who was with us. “Lady” dealing with it was not happy that I wouldn’t pay for 5 children that I didn’t even know!! Food is shabby and not worth it

Brilliant Birthday Party
Sep 2019 • Family
Great Value for money! Food was more than ample and a good variety! Staff (in particular the host) were excellent! Keep up the great work ladies!

Would certainly recommend for a child’s party.

Good but requires update
May 2019 • Family
We’ve been coming here for over 4 years as members but were considering ceasing our membership.
The play area hasn’t really changed that much in four years.
Main changes they took out Merry go round and boat instead of repairing them.Probably 2 of the most played on items.
Installed toddler area where the rides where but no fixed items and lots of stuff to play with often replaced as they get broken.
Food is average but consistent some items are expensive and menu is limited due to franchise.
Last visit I had a tea cake and I’m quite sure it had been frozen.
Due to the high number of soft play areas in the Stockton area competition is high and I feel funky monkeys is falling behind

Needs update
May 2019 • Family
Been here a lot with my granddaughter, but I think toys need renewing , things are broken , been a little pink horse with 1 handle for ages and cars no streering wheels , the dancing keyboard didn’t work . The young girl on the cafe bit needs some training , question, what drink dos the baby get with toddler deal answer, couldn’t tell you !Quite a few disgruntled parents this morning , shame cause we really liked it !

Sep 2018 • Family
Everything is broken I have been coming here with grandchildren for last few years and have watched all soft played toys fall apart and never mended . We have memberships but won't be renewing them the carousel is broken the boat originally moved that doesn't anymore . The little tykes cars don't have steering wheels on . The lights are off in areas several.swing on toys are broken and I've never been anywhere were the toilets smell so bad whether it's from bins with nappies in I dont know but a lot needs improving

Birthday party
Mar 2018 • Family
Came here for sons 5th birthday with four other boys & 8yr old daughter. The boys loved it, they ran riot till they were red & sweating! Daughter was too old to play but she sat & happily read whilst they played. Not too bad value when you consider that they have unlimited time to play. I also like the layout here: it’s not too big & you can pretty much see them at all times. We didn’t eat on this occasion but we have eaten on previous visits & it’s not too bad at all. The menu has a good choice & it’s not all your typical chicken nuggets & chips sort of menu. This place is a good way to pass a few hours, I find this place more bearable then I do most other soft plays.

Glad we didn’t pay
Mar 2018 • Family
We attended a birthday party with our son and found the soft play area very small. The food prices were expensive but we did not purchase anything.

We had meant to try this place out as it is quite close to home, however I am glad we did not as there are better soft plays in the area with a little bit of traveling.

The only plus is that the soft play is limited to under 8s which stops the older children running amok.

£5 minimum card
Mar 2018 • Family
All in all this place does what it says on the tin.

Clean and tidy toilets.

Only thing which lets it down is £5 minimum spend on card’s - who does this in 2018?

Tiring out my child.
Nov 2017 • Family
Okay, so for tiring out your kids and having them entertained is good. Can't complain. It's safe. I like to go have a brew and a read, knowing my child is getting some play time. Don't order the food though! My goodness. It's expensive for what it is, which is essentially sandwiches and crisps. I ordered my child a cheese toastie, that was ridiculously over priced, if it came with chips that would be different. When I asked if it came with chips and got told no, to the staff member's credit, she did put some on free. To be fair, she needn't have bothered! They were stone cold. There is nothing healthy on the menu. If you go eat first. For entertaining your kids and having a break and a brew it's fine. They need to review their prices on everything though, it's way over priced for what it is. They must make a fortune on the play equipment alone, so why over price the drinks and food?

Great Escape for a rainy day with under 8's
Aug 2017 • Family
We visited Funky Monkeys last weekend with our four kids and nephew aged between 6 months to 8 years. We like that Funky Monkeys offer jumperoo's, walkers and a small section for babies as well as enough activities to keep children ranging from 2 to 8 year olds entertained.

We went for the meal deal option for the kids I think it was £7.95 and you got
Entry and a meal with juice for the kids.

I think if you had kids older than 8/9 they might not enjoy as much from the feedback we have from our kids they enjoy their time here but would prefer drop slides.
