please ignore the previous review. This small shop in the middle of Stockton is warm, friendly and welcoming. Helpful staff and lovely shop pets...

I went to the Labyrinth with a group of friends whilst we were working in the region, and each and everyone of us loved our afternoon here!

The staff were wonderful - friendly, approachable and extremely knowledgable about the food they create. I am vegan, one of our group eats gluten-free - and not only the options available, but the passions with which they are offered is very special indeed.

My Vegan Parmo (how on Earth!?) was delicious, and a rather healthy alternative to the calorie laden take away alternatives we have in the Teesside high streets! It came with a lovely, bright, fresh salad - one of the most varied I've had, with pomegranate seeds, blueberries and tons of red cabbage.

This is a cafe with its heart firmly set in the community. I love the 'buy ahead' wall - where customers can buy parmos, coffee, anything ahead for those who are in a less fortunate state at that given time. Every town or city could do with a Labyrinth Holistic Cafe - but it's heart and soul is firmly set in Stockton, and it's relationship with the community is serves is beautiful and heartwarming.

Makes me wish I never left Teesside!

Just been to celebrate Labyrinths 1st birthday. Fantastic range of loose leaf teas and filter coffees with the expert advice to go with it. Here's to many more years of being the number 1 choice in Stockton for both those with dietary requirements and those who don't like the high street chain coffee shops!

My partner and I were visiting Stockton for the SIRF.
We happened to park near Labyrinth, this very welcoming, friendly cafe. Lovely people running it! The food was great (best side salad ever), with lots of interesting things on the menu. Also approve of all the gluten-free, vegan, etc offerings on it and the fact nearly everything is homemade :o)
Comfortable seating, like the fact that there are two gorgeous dogs in situ and good idea having the books and other stuff on sale. I also really liked the wall where people could buy a drink or something to eat for other people who go there and can't afford to buy something for themselves - this is what being human is all about isn't it, caring for each other... Well done guys, great job, see you next year!

The Mrs and I frequent The Labyrinth when we can. Always treated with a friendly smile and excellent customer service! The things for sale are like from another time (in a good way) and relatively priced. Keep up the good work

This lovely chilled cafe is gluten-free, with a fantastic menu for vegans, vegetarians and carnivores. Gluten-free parmos, pancakes, breakfasts, light bites. Everything is very clearly marked on the menu for vegans. The cakes are vegan and delicious. Caters for all allergies in a friendly, relaxed cafe, complete with cafe dogs. Try it out!

Been a few times now and it's always amazing! It's not always easy to find somewhere to eat out as a veggie coeliac but this place wins every time!
Not only is the food fantastic but its very reasonably priced and the service is always great and really friendly.
I also like that it's a social enterprise and supports a foodbank too.
Not only is everything gluten free they are also great at dealing with all other food intolerances.
Definitely some of the good guys and worth supporting.

I simply love this place.....
As a person who's food choices are often limited by a gluten intolerance being able to eat ANYTHING on the menu, without fear of pain is a revelation!
Not only that but they cater for my daughter's dairy avoidance without batting an eyelid.
Vegan and vegetarian diatry needs are catered for with equal accommodation.
All this choice is served up in a chilled and welcoming environment with a choice of teas I've never seen rivalled
Last, and possibly most importantly, it all tastes amazing....and yes I am working my way through the whole menu!!

What a fabulous place, great food, great value, great atmosphere and an incredibly warm welcome. We arrived just after nine for breakfast to discover they didn't start serving food until ten, but the incredibly friendly chef went off to get the ovens heated up straight away so that we could eat sooner. Nothing was too much trouble, the choice of vegan and vegetarian items on the menu was fantastic, with extra vegan versions often available (vegan cheesy potato cakes!) The chef took so much time to chat through the options and make sure that we had exactly what suited our range of dietary requirements. There was a huge range of delicious teas and the hot chocolate was the best we'd had anywhere for ages. Best of all, this cafe is a not for profit organisation; not only are you not propping up some multi million pound corporation, you feel you are part of a community of people who really care - there is the opportunity to pay in advance for a meal or drink for a homeless person. This is a great place with great food and a huge heart. We'll definitely be back!
