Lovely park, very well kept and maintained by passionate people. Cafe not only serves Sunday lunch but does a great bacon sandwich. We ride there on cycle paths from Ingleby Barwick via Preston Park and it’s a nice pit stop at Ropner.

Lots of friendly dog walkers. I have been here to run with friends. Perfect space to spend time in peace and quiet. Lovely duck pond. Great little cafe for a drink afterwards

My kids grew up visiting this park and still come for a walk with me occasionally. Great structure, the Victorian planners knew how to create a beautiful space. Lovely lake and nice safe ambience

Ropner Park is a lovely place. Flower beds are especially gorgeous in the summer. Fountain could do with a refurb but the lake is pretty as are the tree lined walk way. Bowling club seems popular. Lots of events going on, especially during the summer....More
