Monkey Forest is completely unique to the UK. It is the only place that you can walk amongst 140 Barbary macaques roaming free in 60 acres of beautiful English Forest. Walking in the park transports you into a different world through close contact with the monkeys.

We had a family day out here and it was fantabulus. Great fun for adults and children alike. One of our daughters sat under the branch of a large tree, against our advice, and payed for her ignorance. The monkey that was sitting on the high branch decided at that moment to toilet itself and gave her a unwanted hair... More

I have taken visiting family members and friends here on a number of occasions and always thoroughly enjoy it. Seeing the monkeys in their own environment behaving as they normally would is really special - the staff have a wealth of knowledge about them and know them all so well, the talks at feeding time are really enjoyable. The surroundings... More

Love this place! Great interactive experience. Have visited a few times and have never been disappointed. The monkeys are great and some will come and sit next to you. Fabulous. Go visit.

Lovely visit to the monkey park with little ones. Nice to be able to see the monkeys up close and to hear the talks from the keepers who are really informative. Cafe before you go in is great with good changing facilities for babies. Wasps in summer though was a real problem. Great place to visit but quite expensive for... More

Thank you for your review. Monkey Forest is the perfect half day trip, which can be teamed with Trentham Gardens for a brilliant full day out. As we are unique to the UK we feel our prices are very reasonable at only £8 per adult and £6 per child. We hope to see you again soon. More

Monkey Forest is unique to the UK. The only place you can walk with 140 free roaming Barbary macaques. There are two groups of monkeys living within the forest, with each group consisting of around 70 monkeys each, just like the groups in the wild. There is an onsite Banana Cafe and plenty of picnic areas for visitors to enjoy... More

Thank you for your review. The pathway is 3/4 of a mile long and does include one steeper slope. However, you are free to take your time, stopping as much as you want during the woodland walk. The hourly feeding talks are a must and provide you with extra information about the monkeys whilst watching them at fedding time. We... More

Baby monkeys galore and lots of randy males lol. Love how they wander around at your feet. Up close you see their own little mannerisms and quirks. You see into their eyes and are just as nosey looking back. Not a big place. Fills a nice gap with the kids.

Really good to walk through the monkey Forrest and see the animals wandering freely. The winter time is very good because they have the babies being carried about on the dads back.

My daughter worked here as a guide so went with her high expectations! It was fab! Our guide (not my daughter) was very good and to see the way the troops (walking around in front of you) occupy different areas and live a totally uncontrolled life within the park....no artificial shelters,,,,is an eye opener! I thought there would have been... More
