Lovely Walks
Sep 2020 • Friends
Lovely walks but we managed to get lost and found it hard to get back to our car as the maps/routes didn’t make much sense. Still lovely and nice wildlife

Lovely walks
Jul 2020 • Friends
Jackster37 is obviously reviewing a different venue, there are no animals to pet but a lovely peaceful site on the edge of Stoke. Lots of variety from rolling fields and meadows to pine woodland and old sandstone quarry workings, great for exploring. Kids, dogs and grownups will all love it.
Easy to get lost so take a map.

Nice Park But..
Dec 2019
This is a lovely park and I've been coming here for a while. For years the visitor centre was a slab of fenced off concrete, I think after a fire. This has now been rebuilt. The biggest issue is dog mess. There's not a lot of bins, but people seem to not even use these. The place is covered in dog faeces. A great shame!!

Bins
Oct 2019 • Friends
Needs more bins for putting dog waste in and bins by the car parks. Other than that it's great for dog walks.

Not for children
Oct 2019 • Family
Visited this park today and unless you are walking a dog don’t waste your time!! There’s no farm no tractors and the play area is the size of a very small garden and the visitors centre is in the process of being built since the old one burned down 8years ago!! We took a toddler and unfortunately there was nothing for him to do as even the walks are on uneven ground ! A very disappointed family

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. What an absolutely wonderful place!! So much for children to do, such lovely things and lots and lots of fun.
Beautiful animals that you can touch and feed. Cows to milk, tractor rides. Delicious ice cream, lovely food and drink. Really nice people. Just endless lovely things. I will be visiting again and recommending to everyone I know. Thankyou parkhall!!!

First and last visit

An uncommercialised country park - hence the run down and scruffy appearance. But nature is doing its own thing and reclaiming the land. Good for rock outcrops. Lots of dogs on the loose!!! No water pools to be seen!

Too Many Loose Dogs
Aug 2018 • Friends
First visit here - not impressed ! I spotted 8 loose dogs bounding about and had only been there 5 mins. This is a major problem in these type of places when some dog owners do as they like and do not control their dogs.
Quite a lot of litter too which is no surprise as the area is a disgrace with litter.
Pleasant to be among nature considering the ugliness of nearby towns are just minutes away.
No facilities or cafe - rather run down and neglected.
No interest to visit again.
