Very good selection but slightly pricey

Called here to get a couple of things, the prices are slightly high but everything we had was of a very good quality so can't complain about the prices too much

Retro sweets

Good to pick up old fashioned sweets that you can't get anywhere else nowadays or American sweets. Bit pricey so only a special treat.

All round disappointment
Jul 2016 • Family
As a massive sweet lover, I was very pleased to see a large sweet store on my recent visit to trentham shopping village. What's more they served kellys ice cream. One of my favourite brands of ice cream. Whilst in there I noticed everything was overly expensive.. Beings as it was a rare family day out I treated my family to whatever they wished.

After spending £20+ on various items including a kellys ice creams for both my sister and I, I was massively disappoint after the first bite. The ice cream had this horrible grainy texture as if the ice cream had defrosted and been refroze afterwards. I asked my sister if he's was the same and she replied yes. I returned to shop shortly after to explain that there ice cream was bad. The responce I recieved made me feel as if I was making it up. They never tasted the ice cream themselves, just poked at it a little, whilst telling me there wasn't anything wrong. I was offered a new ice cream but by this point I was put off. Knowing to well that the next ice cream would be the same. I heard a couple after I was served been spoken to quiet rudely after they had asked for a waffle cone like was on show instead of the cheap soggy waffle cones u pick up from the local supermarket. All in all very dissapointed and concerned as to whether I'm gona get an upset stomach in a few days time.

Rude lady behind the counter
Nov 2014 • Solo
I went into the shop smiled at the lady and said hello. I was given a moody look. I very politely asked if they did a certain type of sweet. The lady behind the counter spoke to me like I was stupid, corrected me, and told me what she did sell and told me very rudely that they were in the window. I then started to ask if I could please have some of those, the lady started talking over the top of me to somebody else. I was prepared to spend my money but they lady acted as if she was trying to get rid of customers. I felt no option but to walk out, as a happy, friendly customer, prepared to spend money, I was not wanted there. Very disappointed, shocking service.

Like going back in time. Sweets served from big bottles just like they used to. I particularly like the range of liquorice sweets. They also do Walkers Nonsuch toffee. Delicious!!
