The refurbished park is now even more impressive than previously, having opened at the end of October 2020. The formerly tatty Mottram shelter, the bandstand and other older features have been expertly restored. The aviary , long a favourite with the town's children, has been relocated, and rebuilt and is now full of exotic and not-so-exotic birds. There is now a cafe; the bowling green remains at the centre of the Park. For old friends and new visitors, Victoria Park is highly recommended.…

I regard the park as part of my life, as I use it regularly. It's just a haven of peace and tranquility. At the present time though it is undergoing a revamp with public and Lottery Funding. The plans are fabulous so if you do visit please return when it's all finished. The nice thing is that full consultation has taken place including local schools and the nearby College. A true community effort. So pleasing in every sense.…

Often busy but tables up and down stairs. Traditional menu with limited vegan/ veg options and fairly unimaginative choice but fresh and well prepared.

I have been to the park before and I know how interesting it is but this time part of the park was closed has work was in progress but what was open was well worth seeing.it nice to just sit in there or wonder around, it's handy having it so local to every where.
