Have been going to Beacon Park since I was a child and it never fails to please. The park for children is great, there are lovely walks for the dog, and the grounds are always well tended.

After visiting the fabulous cathedral, it was time to stroll down the land and enjoy exploring the park.
Combination's of trees, shrub beds(well maintained), linking pathways, tennis courts, sculptures and waterway, this was a good time to spend on a dry day in October.

Very pleasant park which looks well cared for. Plenty of activities for kids and the flowers/shrubs compliment the overall impression well.

A nice walk around lichfield followed by a visit to the park which is well maintained. There are paths around the bowling green, some lovely flower beds, sculptures and a great play area for children. There is a cafe but we did go there. A lovely couple of hours spent there.

This park is in the center of the City and here you can do many things including go for a leisurely walk, play golf, take kids to the children's play area, play crazy golf, tennis, basketball, bowls, play disk, foot golf and a lot more. Beacon Park also has some nice flower beds, and a fountain surrounded by Lions!. There are also a number of statues to see including one tp the Captain of the Titanic. If you are coming by car then I would recommend Bunkers Hill car park.

The story of the park reflects much of the history of the city that is shown here gifted to the city by Colonel Swinfen-Broun - a family who were benefactors to the city. Look for the history as well as enjoy the open space.

Such a big place. Great for kids as there's a big playground. Lots of open space and fields near so good for dog walkers. Lovely place for a picnic in the sun

There are tables but I would take a nice blanket and sit on the grass
Hi, can we bring our motorhome for the day? Is there parking available? Are we able to have a bbq on the site? Thanks

No unfortunately it does not cater for Motorhomes, I don't know of anywhere in Lichfield that does.

Is the park wheelchair friendly? How much is it to park?

I don't recall seeing anything which would impede a wheelchair user. The paths in the park are wide and in good condition. Can't remember any steps which might be a problem. We parked elsewhere and were on foot so sorry, can't really help with cost of parking; if you go to the visitlichfieldhistoricparks website (sorry, Trip Advisor won't let me put a link in here so Google it if needs be) you'll get what information is available and a phone number for enquiries.
Oh let's be daring and see if they let me give you the phone number: 01543 308867.
Good luck.
