Brilliant day. Very well organised with plenty of breaks for the kids. I brought packed lunches for mine but there was pizza, noodles on sale. The marshals were great fun, and really engaged and looking like they were having as much fun as the kids!

Amazing day out. It was my sons 13th birthday and he loved every minute of it. Was upset that it ended. Will be going back!!

I am so happy to review, woodend , delta force. I can not emphasis how completely and utterly impressed I was with every aspect of the experience we had at woodend. This was the first time I had booked or used this experience, it for my daughters 13th birthday. The booking was quick and easy with very helpful staff. When we arrived at Woodend, we were greeted by a guy who quickly took us through the details of the day, gave us the pellets and explained the process. After a short period of time the group was called for their safety talk. One of our group was apprehensive and didn’t want to go in, however, after it was explained that Morgan was going to be their personal Marshall for the day and that Morgan introduced herself to the girls, she took the worried member of the party aside giving her a boost in confidence she actually followed. After the first game all 4 of our party came out saying WOW that was brilliant! Chris, whom I assume was the guy in charge on that day was absolutely brilliant, I have never seen a person do so many jobs, keeping the area clean, dealing with an elderly man that needed an ambulance (he was at one on the parties he was not joining in the paint balling!), sorting out the refreshments, voice overs and loads more, he needs a medal! Overall the day was brilliant, we will definitely be booking there again however next time I’m joining in! Thanks everyone for making the day so enjoyable...…

The kids had such an amazing day with lots of fun! I was a little worried prior to booking but the staff, facilities, and organisation, was first class!!! The boys had a fab time and were still very chatty today about their experience. Safety was top priority, and handled brilliantly. We shall go back!!…

Ok, so we were approached by a salesman outside Tesco. We were mis-sold the deal as far as I am concerned. I explained that there might be a member who was not keen, and was told that it would be ok as there was a 'tower' to stand in and play from there. The salesman's Mother stood the tower when she played apparently as she did not want to get hit. This sounded a good idea, and was reinforced by another saleswoman when we rang to book a day. We were told that there would be a zombie game and that the saleman might be there dressed up as a zombie! But apparently the tower was the safe area. When we got there and asked about the tower, we got blank stares. My friend who had not been keen, had to play in the main areas and just had to hide behind basic fences etc. There were no features as promised, just taped off areas. There were no zombie games with zombies. In other words, we had been lied to. The uniforms did not fit particularly well and one of our team mentioned that his smelt of stale sweat - not his own, I hasten to add. The guns were allocated and originally ours were ok. But when you go back to the safe area after playing, you have to hand your gun in, and when you go back out for the next game, you do not get your original gun. So, we were unlucky in as much as our guns the second time round kept sticking and we could not shoot. They were not as well maintained as I would have expected. Another thing to note about the guns, is that the ones allocated do not have the same firing range or accuracy as the ones that you can pay extra for at a cost of £10.00. Whilst this is just a bit of fun, it is annoying that unless you pay extra you are at a slight disadvantage. We were told that the teams would be reasonably small, but there were lot of us on the day. Too many in fact in my humble opinion to make it work. I found the terrains were disappointing, in as much as they were not as explained by the salesmen. No towers, tanks, buses or castles to hide in. In fact it was just small areas cordoned off and a few barricades to hide behind, but nothing large enough or exciting enough to impress us and not what we were told. The games were about 10 minutes each and there were two parts, so 20 minutues each. We were not told about how many balls we would need and failed to get an accurate account of hidden extras. So, after the first game, we had run out of our 100 balls that were in the deal. As we had 5 games to go and did not get the 'free' 100 balls each until the last game, we had a choice of leaving, or buying more balls. This came at a cost of another £70.00 for 1,000 balls. These lasted for a few more games but we still had to purchase another 400 balls for £30.00. Ok, not a big deal, but I am a cynic who detests companies who reel people in without fully explaining the set up. I understand that money has to be made, but it would have been more useful to have had this information before going. Several of the other team members left at lunchtime having used all their extra balls and not wanting to spend any more money. We stayed until the end and got our free balls. Although overall it was ok, I was not happy with the sales practices and so rang the company to express my concerns. Three times in fact - and in each case there was either no one there to talk to me, or like today - conveniently, the man was on the phone! So not a particularly nice company when things go wrong. A good honest company will always follow a complaints proceedure and do everything they can to ensure that a fair conclusion is reached and both parties are happy. And I have other concerns which will remain between us and the company if they ever choose to call us back, which I very much doubt. We may or may not go paintballing again, but next time it will not be with Delta Force, a commercial company with not a lot of professionalism. And, finally, had I recieved a courtesy call back, I would have not bothered writing a review. Most people will enjoy their day here, but for those who have never done this, just be aware of what the costs are. Go and do a recce. Be aware you will come back with many bruises if you get hit. And make sure that the company supply adequate uniforms. And do not buy silly offers by salesmen outside supermarkets! Oh and one final thing - the salesman apparently - and get this! - does NOT even work for Delta Force - so he made everything up as he went along to get me to sign on the dotted line! Really bad work Delta Force!…
