The temple is beautiful. Very peaceful.
But the lady of Avalon or Nolova (avalon backwards) we made up 16 yrs ago by the founder of the Goddess temple. To become a priestess of Avalon will cost you £1600 a year. 3 yrs training. Its a money making business.
Nolova is not an ancient Goddess. It's sad they had to cash in on the energy of Glastonbury. And very gullible people.

These ladies really have no idea they only take your money for a service which is completely made up & a load of rubbish!
They have no interest in your own wishes and fob you off just taking your money and once you have paid don’t bother to get back to individual requests or show any care for your situation.
It really is some dated cult type arrangement!
Don’t be fooled...don’t waste your money and time!

I never had a reading before from an outside source but something drew me to this place and I am so glad I picked the right one. Jacque saw me, she was very friendly and professional, I was a little nervous but she instantly put me at ease.

My entire experience was one I won’t forget for a very long time and I was still buzzing half way home some good 3 hours later.

I would strongly recommend her and have every intention of going back, some time around Oct/Nov.

Fine to go for the day, but please be aware that there are issues with this organisation. Ask around in the town, and you will find out 'what lies beneath.' I got snared into taking one of their very expensive courses, and I am still traumatised from what I experienced and saw...

The Goddess Temple is a favourite place of mine to visit. It's a sanctuary of rest, meditation, prayer, whatever you need. It doesn't matter what your religion is, your beliefs are. Everyone can visit.
It's lovingly cared for and you can ask the Melissa guarding the temple on the day for a cleansing smudging while you're there.
If you're interested, check out the website for possible evening events at the temple. There can be pathworking / meditations etc. which are a wonderful experience.

As you walk in you are greeted by the receptionist. Need to take off your shoes if you have appoitment to have various holistic therapies or various sessions such as Breathwork or other ceremonies . Each room decorated different but there is great harmony with each other. Highly recommended

I was so keen for so long to visit the Temple, but on entering I was glared at and made to feel incredibly unwelcome. A place, it seems, for only the right clique...

My partner and myself visited Glastonbury recently. As a solitary pagan I thought it would begreat to go to the temple and possibly meet like minded people. I walked up to the door and tried to open it. It was locked so I walked down the steps and a woman stuck here head out the door and shouted what do you want? I said we'd come to see the temple. She said I'm busy and slammed the door! People like that give pagans a bad name! I was extremely upset after looking forward to the temple.

It’s a bunch of women who have steadily grown in number in this town and will have you believe that they are reviving pagan traditions, but in fact it is more like a trendy cult which is making a fair amount of money out of fake healing and highly contrived views of the past. This gets supplemented with various arts and crafts that they do. None of it displays any artistic merit and is highly stylised.

It is run along the lines of a radical feminist organisation, but very touchy-feely, although none-the-less very dogmatic if you should happen to think differently from the group. In one sense I would say it is quite Maoist, where Mao dictated the family was evil and society should orientate itself towards communal living. This is a similar idea, yet it is based on their rather aberrant view of the female form, in that the female is essentially of a goddess like being, presumably far more honourable than the man, except for those who take the stance of bowing down to the order of the goddess, and act rather effeminately as well.

I would personally give this place a miss if I were you. The main problem is the integrity of these people. They will tell you any old nonsense. They mix up fact with fantasy, and you do get the distinct impression that they are not all there.

Creepy and cultic; some friends even say has potential to become very dangerous; literately very backward.
